The thing is, I think DeSantis will be re-elected next year unless he pulls a Todd Akin. Enough nutty Rs love him for “standing up to Democrats and not shutting down the state.” They don’t give a hoot about his fudging with Covid infection/death numbers, his chaotic vaccine rollout or being bribed to administer vaccines to the wealthiest zip codes that donated to his campaign.

I read the Politico article about him and it was almost complementary in places. I wanted to punch my computer screen at times.
