Yeh I think so too, it kind would make sense to have those themes next, right after last weeks lead up into Wakanda. It’s either that, “Thanos Gamora” or Party Thor.

While “Thanos Gamora” could be a more “stand-alone” story and the one coming next week. Party Thor is also about Ultron robots so it seems like it’s basically one of the lead ups to the very final episode.

I haven't seen anything that confirms or denies Zoe returning. There was that Variety article that got it wrong about a few actors not returning like Benedict Cumberbatch and Benicio Del Toro. Are you referring to that?

I’m actually interested to see how this plays out, we know that the episode is based around the events of Black Panther and Iron Man.

Seems like Killmonger and Tony Stark become best buds and form some sort of alliance but it seems like it might not work out in the end. Wakanda is featured and so it the supporting characters of that world.

So I guess it’s about Killmonger becoming good and eventually being crowned as king. Interesting to see how Iron Man and his tech will be us in conjunction with Wakanda.

My answer to the episode’s question would be, they would’ve probably become best friends and business partners with Tony Stark never becoming Iron Man.

Eventually Killmonger could’ve gotten help from Stark in dealing with Wakanda.

Tony Stark’s tech, vibranium… To me it seems like these could be the very first breadcrumbs leading up to the season’s finale.

The most cinematic episode so far.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. 8.5 out of 10.

It’s probably the best episode so far. I think the 2 stories meshed really well and things played out accordingly to what could be expected. The story was very solid and well crafted, the humor was positively subdued in order to give the story a more earnest feel and the action delivered. The intrigue around the early connection between the Black and Panther and Iron Man movies engaged me with this episode as no other before.

Overall it was a very good episode. This level of storytelling and pacing hadn’t be achieved yet in the season.

Good episode, thoroughly enjoyed it but I don’t buy that Killmonger would look exactly the same in 2008 as he did in 2018. So that took some suspension of belief.

Well technically Iron Man takes place in 2010 while Black Panther takes place in 2016. So the length of time between the 2 movies is smaller. Still I sorta agree but it's nitpick for me in an otherwise good episode.

There’s definitely going to be a continuation to this episode and it’s going to happen in the upcoming episodes.

In the trailer released yesterday there’s footage of Pepper Potts, Shuri and the Dora Milaje running towards the throne room in Wakanda. There’s another shot where King Killmonger is suited up inside the throne room with broken windows and in the background we see military helicopters flying inside Wakanda. So the ladies are coming in to confront and take him down.

This thing of the previous episode being revisited in the final episodes lines up with other footage shown on the trailer, of Ego taking over Peter, Doctor Strange, Thor and Captain Carter interacting with the zombies universe and those remaining characters…

I thought the story was intriguing since Killmonger is now my second favorite MCU villain considering Loki's gone full anti-hero, but I'm waiting to see where they pick this up later on. I almost would have preferred if this was just a standalone episode with a definitive ending but most of these episodes haven't really been that. I had actually thought that this episode might have been about Killmonger if he wasn't a villain, but we quickly saw that wasn't the case. I liked the nod to Michael B. Jordan being a real life anime fan too. I was also waiting for Killmonger to take out T'Chaka as revenge since I assume the death of N'Jobu still went down the same way it did in the mainline universe.

One of the highlights of the episode was bringing back Ludwig Gorannson's awesome themes.

The absolute worst part was Tony's voice actor. I guess it didn't bother me as much in episode 3 since he played a much smaller role there but him sounding nothing like RDJ was very distracting. They really couldn't have gotten anyone else?

He'd probably be mid-'20s at the oldest. I'm fairly certain Killmonger is supposed to be at least a few years older than Michael B. Jordan in real life. Jordan was born in 1987. Seth Carr, the actor who played him as a child in BP, was born in 2007. If Erik is supposed to be 9-10 in 1992 during the opening scene of the movie, then it's not a stretch to assume he was born in 1982/83.

@Drizzle I actually thought the voice actor did a fairly okay RDJ impression. I have to disagree that he sounded nothing like him.

When i don't think about timelines it was a tight episode but i when i do i would've liked to see how a younger killmomger was compared to the one we know.

Overall I liked this episode. It was darker expected and took some interesting turns. Didn’t like the cliffhanger ending though. It’s one thing to tease a zombie Thanos or Ego showing up. But this felt unfinished.

Good episode. And I like this series as a whole... but one thing that bothers me is that we were just introduced to the TVA in Loki, and now it's as if they don't exist. Surely they would take notice of these branched timelines.

The whole point of Loki's show's ending is to show that the branches are now out of control and it's chaos right now.
