High kicks? They'll probably need a trainer to lift their legs up just to walk upstairs.

any one have any idea how much - if any - of this was shot before the shut down in mid- March? Even if they start back up in mid-July [which I'll believe when I see it] that leaves less than 10 months to get this thing into theaters for the first of May - which seems very unlikely.
My guess it that this gets moved to July or more likely November, the Black Widow takes the Feb spot and Eternals moves up to May...

Is this movie set in Australia or are they just using that to double as China? Otherwise Australia seems like one of the least suitable places to set Shang Chi in.

I don't know if you know much about film making, but 5 months is not very much time to get any movie made, much less an effects heavy Marvel film...they have only 10 months to the May release date - if they start today - and as far as I know they will be lucky if they can start back up by the end of July. I think they had only been shooting less than a month before the shut down so they probably have another 4 months to go...I would hate for this to be rushed and we get some inferior visual effects like we did in BLACK PANTHER.

They are using the same stage space they used for the last THOR, and then the plan was to start the next THOR there once this is over. Australia is about s suitable as Atlanta and they make that work...

I heard it's gone back into lockdown. What if that begins to extend to the rest of Australia? Then Marvel will have to completely abandon production in Australia if they ever want to get this film moving.

Only the Melbourne metro area has gone back into complete lockdown. There have been no other cases in the rest of Australia for a while. And frankly stopping production on a big budget movie is the least of our concerns at the moment.

Does that mean that Neighbours has probably stopped production? Is that show even still running? Isn't Ramsey Street set in Victoria, Melbourne? Maybe they'll have storylines on that about lockdown and social distancing.
