Falcon and Winter Soldier The Falcon and the Winter Soldier General Discussion

oh this probably confirms that the episodes are each around 45-60min and not short as most of the Mandalorian episodes
Good point. I was looking for some news from this mostly useless quote and this is actually useful.

That’s a solid length. I wonder if all the mini-series will be that length.

This and WandaVision are top of my list. Hopefully they can get to continue filming soon.

I think you are taking the comments about duration too literally. I doubt anyone at this stage would know exactly how long the episodes are going to be, given they haven't even finished filming, let alone editing. This is kind of a textbook phrase people use when they want audience to associate a TV series to a film both for the production value and the serialized format and Disney has even more of a reason to do so, in order to attract more of the movies' audience.

Same with the budget, while huge for a TV show even by today's standards it's not up there with the the cost of the MCU movies, especially if we consider it's six episodes and not a two or even a three hour movie. In a similar way I feel while it could be the case and the episodes are one hour each, it's more like a manner of speaking at this point.

...I believe it, when I see it

I think news came out that they're exempt from the travel ban

That‘s not good news at all. I know, that right now, they aren‘t allowed to travel to the CR. But fall will be some time in September-October and I think the virus spreading situation will be worse again in fall. I don‘t think they will be able to complete this outside the USA in 2020

I don't think it will be as bad in Europe in the fall as it has been. They've done a better job of handling the virus and lockdown than we have and they are like 3 or 4 months ahead of us in recovery. What I see happening is that any Hollywood movies shooting in the EU will have the cast and crew arrive two weeks before shooting so they can be tested and quarantined. The US won't recover from this until next summer I think.

Doesn't sound like they have much left to shoot after nine days.

They've still got reshoots aswell. Unless they're gonna try to do it all then

Sam: Hey Sharon, how have you been?

Sharon: For the most part good. Is Steve Ok? He hasn’t been returning my calls

Sam: Well...... he kinda went back in time

Sharon: What really? When is he coming back?!

Bucky: He came back, just is an 90 year old man now. You can visit him. He can tell you the the story of why he decided to stay back and live his happy life with your Aunt.

Sharon: ...........

Lol this show revolves around Cap. I’m expecting them to joke about it

sharon probably was like, huh, i always thought my uncle looked like stev-oh wait

We should expect a release date in early 2021 ?? Sometimes after WandaWision in December 2020

If Wandavision could be released before F&WS they would‘ve done it, to keep subscribers.
Obviously it needs to be released after F&WS. If the later needs to be delayed until 2021, than WV as well

yeah with WV it's too tied to strange 2, that they need to keep that momentum/setup for it. just let it all have the original release order, just with everything backslid due to the delays

It’s a series and everyone could rewatch it before DS2 premieres. Imho that isn‘t the problem.
I think something in Black Widdow and/or F&WS happens, that we need to see before WV is getting released.
