not sure if you just joking, but he was just an unknown at the time, and would have been like 12 when the first movie came out... certainly wouldn't have had his neurotic reputation, yet
Well I did only say someone like Wes Bentley. But no, I wasn't really joking. Need I remind you that we're talking about all of this in relation to an alternate timeline where Burton stayed on for Batman 3 and cast Robin at some point? Batman Forever started filming in (checks Wikipedia) September 1994. So Bentley would have been just turning 16. Not too young for Robin, and not too old imo. He would have still been on the scene, auditioning for movies and putting himself forward.
