My goal is a Brood Saga, which would also be a horror. This is exciting. Great news.
If rumors of a Secret Invasion storyline Are to be believed, this could fit well into DaCosta’s horror sensibilities. Plus, would love to see characters like Valkyrie, Spider-Man, Cap (Falcon), etc.
I wonder who’s going to be revealed as a Skrull...

Brood Saga doesn't have to be completely horror (think Alien 2 over Alien), but they did hire a horror director.
Considering Bill Paxton is no longer alive, that would be pretty difficultimagine if they hired someone from Aliens as an Easter egg. Imagine a Bill Paxton cameo
Good call. That would fit on multiple fronts if there’s room for the character in the script. Seems like the main players would be up for it.Is it too much to hope Valkyrie can get in on this sequel, for a Tessa/DaCosta reunion??? Tessa and Brie are already BFFs so it just makes sense, lol.
I think a big complaint about a lot of Phase 4/5 lower-rated films is they're too short. Thor: Love and Thunder, Quantumania, Doctor Strange 2, and now The Marvels have all been films under 2 hours that many critics have said needed another 10-20 minutes to flesh out characters/storylines. Not sure what happened in Marvel's hiring process where they found directors who thought runtimes needed to be under 2 hours even before production started. It's like they were just trying to speed through Phase 4 without letting films breathe. The Marvels Director on Why MCU Sequel's Runtime Is So Short
The Marvels' director Nia DaCosta has spoken about why the Marvel Studios sequel's runtime will be under two hours.www.superherohype.com
I think eXtra 10 minutes to flesh out certain scenes would have helped. I find more than 120 minutes a bit long too. Sitting for 2 hours straight is just not good. At home, I quickly lose attention and I always look at the runtime. But if a longer runtime improves the pacing of the film, so be it.
I am unaware those other films are under two hours. I haven't seen the others since I saw them in theater.I think a big complaint about a lot of Phase 4/5 lower-rated films is they're too short.
