What an awesome experience it was being on the internet circa 2007-2008. God do I miss those days and I am still glad that I got to be apart of the viral marketing campaigns for both Cloverfield and TDK. I was even able to see Cloverfield a week early because of it which actually ended up being my first ever free movie screening and damn was that an experience in itself. I really wish more studios did that nowadays, because those are the kind of positive experiences that really brought people together.

I'm probably in the minority, but I don't want any grotesque costumes or prosthetics for Farrell's Penguin. Fur coat and a maybe being a bit overweight will do it for me. Telegraph it more via script and performance, rather than outlandish designs. Especially considering the overall aesthetic of the movie (what we saw of it).

I don't need a grotesquely long nose or flippers ala DeVito's Penguin, but I would like him to be one fat mofo or at least have a hanging gut and some chubby cheeks. I don't want it to be just Colin Farrell in a tuxedo. There is no call for a hot Penguin.

Also, I do think the Telltale Penguin is an interesting and clever design, but honestly we've got enough masked nutjobs in Batman's rogues gallery. Let the Penguin remain out in the open and relatively sane.

I agree, I was glad to see Farrell gain the weight. The Telltale look just makes Penguin look more generic. Lean into what makes these characters unique instead of shying away from them. It comes off as trying to make something "sillier" cool at least for Penguin who is originally so distinct looking. I'm open to others done differently as long as it fits them and is done well though. But sometimes silly is okay.

Danny Devito’s Penguin is still my favorite, so obviously I’m cool with drastic redesigns. But Telltale Penguin is so awful.

Count me in as another dude that is fully not on board with Penguin just being Farrell in a tuxedo. Lame as hell. Some elements of Penguin’s appearance must remain. I want overweight Penguin with a prosthetic nose.

Haven’t they already confirmed that Penguin is getting prosthetics?
