Man Regina King has really come a long way since the 90's. Growing up I mostly remember her as Ice Cube's sister in Friday and now she has become one of the best actresses working today. It's just awesome seeing her come this far and getting the proper recognition for her incredible work in this show.

This show getting so much Emmy love is actually starting to convince me that they will consider doing another season which I would be completely fine with even though I do think this season ended pretty perfectly. I also love seeing Yahya get that award for best supporting actor considering the only other thing I have seen him in was Aquaman and while I wasn't all that impressed by him in that movie he was easily one of the biggest surprises in this show.

Well deserved wins, although I saw it coming considering the amount of nominations it racked up. I'm curious if all the praise and awards are enough for Alan Moore to consider watching it, but we'd never know if he did anyway. He may actually be pleasantly surprised.
