Sequels Jonathan Majors cast as KANG

I'd rather have someone like Whirlwind as the villain in Ant-Man 3 or maybe AIM (as long as they're in the bee keeper outfits and not generic scientists/soldiers).

Whatever they're doing I'm in.

I've personally liked both ant man films.

This intrigues me.

I mean, Josh Brolin had his first appearance as Thanos in GotG. I think Kang could be similar here.

Great choice and it's great to see him blow up since The Last Black Man in San Francisco.

He was so good in Hostiles. This is great casting. Hope he has a major role throughout the MCU. Wonderful character/wonderful actor. Great news all around, and much needed too..

I still don't think Kang will be the main villain in this. AIM, Whirwind or even M.O.D.O.K

Would be cool if they did a reverse avengers assemble where the villains (Kang, Doom, Osborn) gradually form an alliance throughout phase 4 to 6 in order to bring down the avengers.

I now anticipate this now more than CM2/BP2/SM3/GOTG3/DS2.

I don't know if Doom would be happy with others like that on the same team. In the original "Secret Wars" he even killed Kang early on in about the 2nd or 3rd issue.

the flimsiest of alliances because "the enemy of my enemy is my friend"....up until they don't need each other anymore

I think it's more likely the upcoming movies and Disney+ Shows will help set up the Thunderbolts (and maybe later Masters of Evil) under Zemo. With Zemo as leader and potential recruits like Songbird, Abomination, Justin Hammer/Detroit Steel, Ghost, Taskmaster, Batroc, maybe Leader or Mordo, etc.

Kang and Doom I feel are too full of themselves to work in a team and Osborn I think is unlikely because it relies on the Sony deal.

That answer gave me the same vibes as Benedict Cumberbatch's response when asked about rumors he had been cast as Strange back then, tbh.

Since we are getting casting this early, I wonder if we'll be seeing Kang make small appearances here and there leading up to Ant-Man 3.

Loki would seem like a natural place for the character to appear given the multiverse story. Maybe they could add a Rama-Tut appearance into the Eternals?

I'm inclined to agree. Psycho-Man strikes me as a natural choice if they are serious about delving more into the Quantum Realm.

Maybe Kang doesn't seem so out of place for Ant-Man to me because I've been driving past this graffiti art regularly for the past 9 months. Maybe the artist has inside information, lol.

I'm wondering how Ant-Man and the Wasp can defeat Kang when even the Avengers have trouble with him. I hope he's not nerfed.

In Agents of SHIELD, it only took Daisy Johnson aka Quake to defeat Graviton, when in the comics it took more than 10 of the mightiest Avengers.

I doubt they'll defeat him, but maybe pull a Dr. Strange/Dormammu type thing.

They may just get rid of him temporarily. Problem is Kang has all the time in the world to return to be a threat again for
Fantastic Four, Avengers, etc.

I dont think he's the Main Villain, and if he is, then he's Absolutely taking out a few characters

Given what Disney did to Ultron and Hela, I wouldn’t be surprised if Kang is watered down quite a bit. I just hope they have him become a bigger threat throughout the next couple of phases.

They will probably outsmart him. Doctor Strange didn't need to get into a punch up with Dormammu to deat him in that movie.

No doubt Kang's time travel tech come from quantum physics technology so Hank, Janet, Scott, Hope and co will probably come up with some science based tech of plot to take Kang down. Trap him in the microverse or stuck in the timestream somewhere he can't escape for a while.

In Kang's first Avengers comics appearance he was defeated with a gun that fired suit-melting acid (melting Kang's futuristic tech suit). Tony engineered the gun, Hank used his bio-chemistry skills to develop the acid and Wasp figured they could use it against Kang.
