I don't think so either. How can Fantastic Four (that's most likely releasing in 2023) have a director, but not Blade? Plus I don't think Marvel is willing to try 5 films in one year just yet.

Things I hope for with this film

1. Dracula as the villain
2. Blade has a British accent and the film examines what it means to be an immigrant
3. New Orleans setting
4. Emphasis on Blade as a hunter with a strong mystery angle, plot twists and Blade solving a mystery
5. Emphasis on Blade as an 18th Century immortal being who has protected the innocent from vampires for centuries in secret.
