I definitely want more free themes. I couldn't redeem my Re2/Death Stranding theme because of the region thing so that was kinda annoying.

Well, MS has a system in place to allow for custom avatars while weeding out offensive content. I believe once you submit your custom image, it has to be "checked" before you can officially use it.

I don't see why Sony can't implement a similar system.

Nice! Which model did you get?

I'm holding off on getting a new TV until next year's models start rolling out. I figure all the new tech like HDMI 2.1 that's barely present in the current tvs will be more widespread in next year's models.

Also, my project for next year is to clear out a room in my house and turn it into a dedicated gaming/media room. Once I figure out how much space I have to work with, I can better plan what size of tv and media cabinet to get.

It is a good time, especially with all the holidays sales.

I already have a 49" 4K tv, and I was looking at the tvs with the newer HDMI 2.1 tech and it seems nothing below 55" has it. That's why I'm waiting for next year to see if they bring HDMI 2.1 and the other new gaming tech to 49" tvs. I'd rather not have to get a 55". I already had to upgrade last year from a 43" to a 49" because of the (then) newer tech......haha.

Was he even playing the game? The car movement didn't really seem to match all the stuff he was doing with the controller.
 
I got a new 4k television last year though unfortunately it is only hdmi 2.0 but I don't mind. I doubt I'll notice much difference.
 
For day 1 getting spiderman mm ultimate edition, pathless don't know if its going to be a physical version or not and the price though have not heard just know it comes out on day. So only 2 games for day one. Second controller so I can play with one and charge with 1 like on all systems. I may get the camera not sure yet like how is it different than ps4 one?

I was going to get god fall but once I found out that you have to be connected to internet I decide not to. Watch dogs I am getting and I thought it was day 1 but sounds like its November 24. I also think I will get the art book for spiderman that comes out like a week or so after the game.

On day 1 I plain to take the day off and stream spiderman. I may play astro's play room thing first to get a fell for the new controller features and such. My Best Buy in my town population of only about 16000 I was in today and asked them if they are doing any thing special for ps5 when it comes out in a few weeks. Being in a small town and with covid wasn't sure if they would and if they do like midnight launches in the past for big games or new systems. They said they will likely stay open to 9 pm pacific time that is to give the systems out for people who preorder. So I am hoping to get it then. Immortals Fenyx Rising I am getting when it comes out in December. So I should have 4 games by the end of 2020 and then will get ratchet and clank in early 2021 likely.
 
This year, I'm getting:

Miles Morales: Ultimate Edition
Demon's Souls
Devil May Cry 5
Cyberpunk
AC Valhalla

Cyberpunk and AC were already preordered months ago. I'm getting the Ultimate Edition of Miles Morales now for the remastered Spider-Man. Otherwise, I would have waited until I played through the first game via BC on the PS5.

The only accessory I'm getting at launch is the charging stand. May get the media remote, too. Pulse headset not sure, since I really don't play online MP.

Everything else can wait. Godfall looks better and better, but I still have some doubts. That can wait a few months or until it goes on sale. Same with Fenyx.

If Kena and Guilty Gear Strive were ready at launch, I'd definitely get those too. But those will be something to look forward to next year.
 
This year it's gonna be Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Cyberpunk 2077. I'm predicting early 2021 will be Resident Evil VIII for me.
 
Miles Morales ultimate edition and AC Valhalla for sure for me the first games I’m gonna purchase. Digitally of course that’s the only way I buy games now.
 
Will there be another batch of pre-orders in December for those who don't get the upcoming third wave?
 
I have to say, seeing all the size comparisons to old consoles is hilarious.
 
yeah after seeing what a behemoth it is next to the Ps4 pro I feel like I've been delusional thinking I can just stick it right in the same spot I have currently under my tv where the pro is at without any space issues
