While he may not be the central antagonist, I could see him being a catalyst of sorts setting things in motion.

I don't think they're going to get Foxx just to play a smaller role akin to the Shockers and the Tinkerer in SMHC, so his role is going to be major.

Whether he's the head honcho baddie, or one of many major villains is anyone's guess.

But yeah, he's not going to be a joke in this the way he was in ASM 2. He's probably going to be a formidable foe.

He'll definitely be a central character, that's for sure. We have a whole month between filming starting and the preview we're supposed to be getting in December, that's plenty of time for more casting news. However, the longer we go without additional casting, the more likely it is that Electro's the main villain imo.

Fans are weird. Not anyone here, just that Instagram account. I hope they have somebody in their actual life they “love” that much.

I just used it to post the video because the original was on Holland’s Instagram story and I don’t think I can post straight from there (?)

But yea....Holland is super nice to people and seems like he enjoys interacting with his fans, but you just know he quietly thinks some of them get a little creepy sometimes :funny:

I'm mostly just glad that he hasn't let fame go to his head, he strikes me as an incredibly well-adjusted, down-to-earth kinda dude.

Yea, I follow him on Instagram and it’s very.....normal young person. 98% of its just goofing around with his friends and stuff.

Tom Holland's enthusiastic charisma is what I love about him the most and what makes him such a great Peter Parker/Spider-Man IMO even with the heavily flawed writing. He gives off such a likeable, energetic presence that makes it hard not to find him even the least bit endearing.

I just wish the people writing these movies knew how to utilize his range and talent more efficiently, because that's what's been lacking the most with his iteration of Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

They couldn’t have asked for someone more likable or endearing than Tom Holland is onscreen and off, which makes it frustrating that they squander his full potential in a role he obviously loves playing.

I hope we get more of Martin Starr. He's been a low-key highlight of these films.

My big problem with these new Spidey films is the side characters like Ned and Zendaya’s “MJ”. And his fellow classmates like Flash etc.

I just watched Tom's video...they really mail iPads with the scripts on them? That seems unnecessarily wasteful and expensive.

Yeah that’s been my issue the supporting cast mostly.

I think specially Ned an Flash are told out. What else they wanna show us about them? I have no ideas for Ned and with Tony's R.'s Flash I cant imagine a serious scene about him reacting to the reveal of Spidermans identity. I think that could me a huge character moment if the writing before would care just a little bit of Flash besides he is a whole joke.

Many claim Daniel has been right about alot of the leaks in the past. the only things i can see people say he got wrong were trailer announcements. but its hard to say. when things like this get out all you can wonder is who the hell is leaking this information to him? and how is it even getting out?

There is a weird mystery to this film that Sony/Marvel are keeping quiet about. its not like they have announced who the main villain is. this seems to be oddly hush hush.

And yeah as much as people jump to the conclusion Electro is the main villain... Jame foxx being in the movie was not announced by Sony/Marvel. that got out and then was verified for Foxx before being deleted.
