Guess That Line: The Movie Line Trivia Game !

Krypton got it. It's Foreign Correspondent.

:funny: Actually, if you must know, I was trying to watch the last Hitchcock movie of my countdown on the Criterion Channel one last time before finishing my review, but it wasn't there, and Foreign Correspondent was, so I had to watch it. So there! You don't know me! :oldrazz:

I haven't the faintest idea on this one...

But THIS is McQueen in The Magnificent Seven.

Here's a pretty easy one:

"If it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a village to abuse one."

Did Bruce Banner say this in the movie where he teamed up with Bruce Wayne?

I hedged on that one, thought it might have been Butch Cassidy.

I guess "easy" is relative.

Next on the agenda:

“You see, you start out with a little bit of oil. Then you fry some garlic. Then you throw in some tomatoes, tomato paste, you fry it; ya make sure it doesn’t stick. You get it to a boil; you shove in all your sausage and your meatballs; heh…? And a little bit o’ wine. An’ a little bit o’ sugar, and that’s my trick.”

Not a film quote, but

Revenge is a dish that tastes best when served cold

Is a line from the Godfather novel ( yes, before Wrath of khan).

Here's one:

"When your enemy's making mistakes, don't interrupt him."

The sport involves a ball. And one of this A-lister's co-stars in the film was a great, great actor who left us far too soon.

Oh man, apparently the bring the cannoli line was improvised.

Clemenza's thinking:

"Hey... I'll kill a guy and leave the body in Canarsie, but I don't wanna face my wife if I don't bring home those cannoli."
