I tried the Demo and didn’t finish it.
the cutscenes are awesome...but I don‘t like these kind of games.
I‘ll probably watch a walkthrough on Youtube then

I played a little bit of it. Very different from Hyrule Warriors 1. Link is pretty standard, and Impa took a bit to figure out. Didn't get to try out Zelda much, but she feels interesting. A bit jarring going from 1 to Age of Calamity.

The story bit at the beginning makes me wonder just how many characters we will actually get...

Yeah I’m playing the demo too. At first I hated impa’s design but I love playing as her now. I definitely want to get the game now

Started playing the demo to hyrule warriors age of calamity tonight for a little less than 2 hours. Its a lot of fun there is a lot more to the combat then I was expecting and seeing some of those locations again from botw and getting more of the backstory is great. I am looking forward to the final game and the fact that the save file cares over from the demo to the final game is great. I have not beaten the demo yet.

I'm enjoying the game. I am loving the combat. Not very far in, just unlocked the champions. So far, while I am loving the combat, the missions themselves feels a little basic. And I really do miss Adventure Mode.

So, you can end up with Zelda's second weapon if you use an Amiibo before it unlocks in the story.

Its Nintendo. They could drop a trailer in Jan that says it is out next month. Based on Age of Calamity's sales, you clearly don't need to run a long advertising campaign.

With how well BOTW did both sales and review wise I dont think Nintendo has to do a long campaign for botw 2 to sale lol

Nintendo and specifically Zelda is weird though.

They released the first trailer at E3 in June of 2019. So they've had 18 +/- months to this point to get a second one out. Their long game for advertising has been in play so long you've forgotten its actually in play.

I would expect something at the end of March. As that would be the end of the Mario anniversary and the start of the Zelda anniversary.

I think the next Zelda game will be on the Next Gen and not on Switch.

We are, at best, getting a half step Switch upgrade. I don't see Nintendo abandoning the Switch anytime soon.

they stated that it was planned as botw dlc but then decided, that it’ll be a whole sequel game.
