PC Marketplace: Steam, Origin, UPlay and More!

I'm trying. I just need a professional who can manufacture such a case. I looked into 3D printing, but the case would be far too weak and costly if I go that route. There's a plastics company nearby, but they only manufacture for companies and in mass quantities.

Very nice, if you get it all going you should slap a few pictures up of it in progress & when fully finished, I'd be quite interested to see how it turns out.

If I had the patience & ability to do such a thing, I saw a custom wall mounted 'case', if you could even call it a case, idea that I really liked.

Effectively like this -

It wouldn't have to have all the lights & fancy cooling, but I like how clean & well organised some of them look. I've even seen some that look nice on just normal, untreated wood

Ha, these are good enough to be in a geek museum/art gallery.

Coming to Steam and GOG. Free for owners of the classic editions.

I played a pirated copy of the first game back then. For a "trashy" PS2/Xbox era game, I enjoyed it. :hehe:

Nioh 2 coming to Steam next February!

Comes with an exclusive item... :hehe:

Right now I use Steam with GOG. I cancelled my Origin account cause really I don't see the point in keeping it. EA's games haven't been enough to get me to play their games.

I wish they'd get the new Spider-Man games on PC as well..

In many ways Sony & Microsoft have actually helped contribute towards PC's becoming more prevalent with more & more households. IMO the reason being the stigma around PC gaming was always this notion that you needed to spend thousands to get a PC capable of running the latest games.. which was never true but that's another argument altogether.

However with consoles getting more expensive + the fact that more people are aware of the price(s) of PC's which they weren't maybe 10-15 years ago before the rise of social media, streaming etc, it has led to people actually getting PC setups.

Control (base edition) is the free game of the week on EGS.

I played about 10 hours on Game Pass but for some reason it was unpatched so the game constantly crashed every 15 minutes or so... :whatever: Not sure if the EGS version is better. I did enjoy the game from what I could play so I'll probably just buy the Ultimate Edition on Steam or GOG just to be safe.

So Mafia definitive edition is on sale on Steam. Do you guys think it's worth getting?

Personally, no, at least not until it's a little cheaper IMO & this is coming from someone who played & enjoyed the original when it was out. I also want to get it but £20.99 is still a good chunk of change for a remaster, I've read there's some changes here & there outside of the vastly updated graphics, but ultimately it's the same game that I'd more be buying for nostalgia than anything else.

Burger Time is on Steam and GOG!

I've always wanted to play this game whenever I see it on Retro PC reviews.

A Plague Tale: Innocence and Battlefield V are free (the latter requires a Prime account).

For those with an Amazon Prime sub, Star Wars: Squadrons (Origin), Ghostrunner (GOG) and Alien: Isolation (EGS) are this month's free games among others.

Prime Gaming

Also, Steam is having another Next Fest featuring a lot of playable demos for upcoming indie games.

Control Ultimate Edition will be on GOG I reckon.

I expected a Steam key for Frostpunk but it's for GOG. Interesting...

How do the Prime games work? Streaming only? Get to keep or they expire at some point?

You get actual keys. Some games are for Steam, some others for EGS or GOG or Origin, etc. Once redeemed on the respective account/launcher, you keep the games forever (well, as long as said launcher is available).

Oh right, had no idea it worked like that. I was half expecting it to give you some kind of access on Luna. This is pretty decent then.
