The least amount of screentime they have, the better. Keep the main focus on Peter and Michelle, and to a lesser extent May and Ned. Maguire and Garfield will at the very least come into play at the second act imo.

Which is sad because Peter’s classmates should be a highlight not an annoyance. Pete’s supporting cast in the comics were all a strong foundation of Peter’s story.

It's sad out of all the attempts at Spider-man movies Webb's version is the only one to flesh out Flash Thompson a bit.

Raimi's- A bully nothing more
Webb- He was trying to sympathize

Watt's- Hey Penis Parker!

-_-

Given that article confirming the threeway collaboration between Matt Shakman, Jon Watts and Sam Raimi, is it possible the latter could have had some input on how Maguire's Spider-Man is represented in SM3?

No doubt Raimi had input. It was reported he helped convince his cast to come back, I'm sure he's satisfied with how his characters will be portrayed.
I sure hope so. I think Raimi of all people should definitely have a lot of input. Without him, marvel may not be where it is today.

Maybe Elizabeth Olsen could show up in Spider-Man. Why is it always a male mentor hero he gets in each film? Not that she'd be mentoring him.

I think it depends on what happens to her at the end of Wandavision. I don't see her getting much of a big role in SM3 though, though one much more focused on in Multiverse Of Madness.

Yeah. The path she seems to be going down doesn't necessarily leave her being a stable role model.

I don't see how that's a good thing.

It isn't, but considering how they were willing to brush aside one big cliffhanger, the precedent's there that they could easily do it again and no one would have a problem.

I guess on John Campea's show today, he wondered if all the missing children posters we see in the set pics were going to factor into the story in some way. He did say it could be a reference to the blip, but it seemed odd since it was just kids and not adults as well.

It's also something that's been rumored for a long while, and we've discussed the rumor on this thread before. I still like the idea of him being Peter Parker's lawyer though.

Thats good! Cox played DD on netflix setting in MCU, he must come back as DD in MCU! him and not anyone else

Wait...

Wandavision spoilers, but
in the second episode, they keep mentioning this children thing almost like a cult. Do you think it could tie into SM3 along with other things?
