WandaVision Kathryn Hahn, who will she play in WandaVision?

I absolutely adore Hahn. Wasn’t she doctor octopus in into the spiderverse?

You know what would be fun? The wacky neighbour next door...is Bova

The nosey neighbour is:
1. An NPC
2. Agatha Harkness
3. Chthon
4. Morgan Le Fay
5. Wanda's subconscious manifesting and trying to figure out what's going on

Haha I love the idea of npcs. “Hi wanda cthon stole my favourite scarf. Can you return it to me?”

I could see her as Agatha, masquerading as a nosy neighbor. The Vision series by King went away from the old crone version, so we could see Hot Agatha filling in for Hot Aunt May.

I love Agatha as this very wise woman with vast ancient knowledge, who regards the likes of Thor as young whippersnappers, who can be kind of creepy and scary, snarky but can be deadly serious, but with a heart of gold.

I think what adds weight to her relationship with Wanda is Agatha never having had a daughter, and the passing down of knowledge from mother to daughter, being a big deal with Witches. So for Agatha, it's a very emotional thing. Just as Strange was the person AO had been looking for, so Wanda is the one for Agatha.

I love the idea of a scene between Ancient One and Agatha Harkness, these two great teachers.

I hope they give her the proper austere governess look if she does appear

With the newest character poster released, although in black and white, her character's clothing definitely look like a modern version of Agatha's, brooch and white blouse and all

She is so good at this she makes it look effortless. How does she look at home no matter the era or setting she’s in? So talented

I know. She's fabulous at switching sitcom tropes depending on the era and I'm sure she'll then be awesome at a completely unfunny character when everything is revealed.

An idea just popped into my head that perhaps she is connected to the Ancient One. Maybe Strange catches note of the damage she’s doing to the space time continuum by manipulating Wanda and that’s what attracts his attention. My speculation is that if Hahn is Harkness then the MCU version is possibly a former disciple of The Ancient One gone rogue. Generic idea but I do think it’s likely.

Could happen, though I’d love for not everything to be so connected. I think the MCU needs to branch out a bit with their groups a little.

Kevin Feige is a far more talented storyteller than I am, so while my theory sounds possible I’m 100% sure it will be proven to be incorrect and they’ll come up with something far more interesting and compelling than my admittedly generic idea. My theory is largely based on knowing WandaVision ties heavily into Multiverse Of Madness. So in thinking on what would be the connective dots that unify that show with that movie I do think it would make a heckuva lot of sense that Agnes(who’s possibly Agatha) has some connection to Doctor Strange’s mentor.

Yeah. I wonder.... She said her anniversary with Ralph was June 2nd. Which is when the Salem Witch Trials started.

Honestly, I'm doubtful that any connection with Dr Strange 2 will be any more elaborate than "Wanda realizes she needs training, Strange offers training". Is a more detailed and complex link possible? Sure, but its far more likely to be the Fandom Ourobouros that tends to afflict such theorization.

“Agnes is Nightmare” is what I’ve heard from someone close to a source on set, but unlike the Evan Peters leak (which they had hard evidence on) this was just pass down to them. Kathryn seems to be genuinely cast as Agatha, so my theory is Nightmare has possessed/manipulating her, using her close relationship with Wanda (perhaps the pair met in the months after endgame) as a guise to get Wanda to birth her twins. Que the big reveal of who’s actually playing nightmare, which leads directly into Dr Strange

^Not a bad theory. Could mean Wanda was sent in to deal with the situation and someone gave her, her dream of a family. Question is what prompted SWORD to get involved and why is Wanda capable of rewinding & rewriting.

I've also heard the same thing from that same source and from someone else back in December who also leaked that never-before-seen bts pic of Vision on WandaVision set.

Came across this from the comics...

Yeah. I think its a fair assumption that Agatha Harkness is going to appear in the show in some form. Probably during the Halloween episode. And it wouldn't surprise me if Agnes dresses up as a witch for Halloween.

I feel like the next three episodes are going to peel into revealing Agnes true agenda and purpose and intentions.

She's definitely been playing a long game con job with Wanda from the get-go and I expect a Mysterio type exposition dump explanation of how she befriended Wanda in her time of need.
