I’ve never really seen beast as a skinny guy. In fact, I think he would look odd as a skinny guy, maybe even a bit threatening.

Neil degrasse Tyson used to be a wrestler at uni. I could see him having a similar body type

Arcade would be an awesome villain to be honest. Set him up as a Jigsaw type psychopath with elaborate traps and a carnival setting

Anyone ever play Spider-Man & The X-Men: Arcade’s Revenge on the SNES? Fun game but it was hard as hell

My favourite arc from Ultimate X-Men had Mojo reimagined as a tv mogul creating a popular tv show of people hunting mutants. Arcade was revamped as a mutant hunter. Its slightly based on Stephen King’s Running Man but could be an interesting spin on mutants introduction in the MCU.

Would you guys prefer a short, stocky Beast or a taller, thinner version like Hoult was?

I'd prefer Beast looking stocky. Being tall and lean feels more suited for Cyclops. (IMO, Hoult actually had the perfect look to play young Scott, which I found a bit distracting.)

I am of the opinion that when the X-Men are a part of the MCU, their announcement is not going to come out of nowhere in a random Disney+ show or MCU movie. It will come from a Comic-Con or D23 event. Somewhere that fans can gather in attendance and mark out when Fiege announces the cast. It was stupid to believe the X Men or Mutants would debut on WandaVision without any fanfare. Same goes for the cast of the Fantastic Four.

They should recreate the deadly genesis cover and have a poster at d+ of the fox-cast looking scared and then get the mcu cast to tear through it charging forward

Sure. This was the same as when someone mentioned that the MCU writers should write in a "joke" for Deadpool in his new MCU movie that "Kevin Feige is a continuity Nazi."

That post had people liking it, but when it was pointed out that Feige wouldn't joke about being a Nazi, the poster said it was only a "joke" too.

Thanks—I think the U-Men make perfect cannon fodder for the X-Men to fight in their first outing, instead of introducing individual Brotherhood mutants to take valuable screen time / story development.

Karl Lykos is amalgamation of his comics counterpart and John Sublime—harvesting mutant powers for himself and his followers who believe in taking control of their destiny/evolution. Make their desire to acquire superhuman powers / evolve themselves related to The Blip —people don’t want to be caught unaware or helpless again, and don’t want to feel powerless.

You’re right, we need like, a good canon fodder type villain like the chitauri so the xmen can show off their powers. Although the sentinel would be good for that but the u-men feel like something we haven’t seen in ages

Honestly, that costume is inspired by the movie.

Psylocke doesn't show her cleavage in the comiXs, at least with the iconic leotard.

That costume was dragged by sectors of the fandom and media for exactly that, dubbed "boob window." And it didn't help that she was wearing that at the Auschwitz Concentration camp scene.

Yeah. Psylocke’s costume is very difficult to do on screen. It has to be functional, look great on screen, be “toy safe” and the actress has to feel safe in it too

I think it can be done. It just looked off in the movie especially Apocalypse apparently was the one that gave them those outfits, and he left Psylocke showing a lot of skin. The top should have been covered at least.
