Switch The Official Nintendo Switch Thread - Part 2

Ooops, Nintendo briefly put up the e-shop page for Ubisoft's big Nintendo game.

Mario Rabbids 2. Get hype

About that game I know I know people have gotten tired of pro rumors me included lol but the new mario rabbits Jasion schreier hinted that it may be on the pro or something in a twitt that was delected. It did look a little to good I thought for a switch game like a little to clear and colors poopling a little to much.

Metroid DREAD and SMTV - I freaking love you, Nintendo!

Yeah, a pretty good direct. Fatal Frame, 2d Metroid, Mario Party.

Metroid 5 was unexpected AF. Not only it's a continuation of Fusion, it's also 2D. True old school for old farts like myself.

And Shin Megami Tensei V... Literally the main reason I bought Switch.

I am super happy about Mario Rabbids 2.

Metroid was the winner for me. Very excited for that

Likewise. Runner up would be the surprising Advance Wars remaster.

Bonus prize for their being *no* "Switch Pro" reveal, despite every rumor monger and carnival huckster insisting that this would totally be the time. *cough*

Ha! Yes well that’s what happens when you believe in rumours

Dread looks amazing, with a great hook.

Well, after all the rumors and "insiders" chatter, I am disappointed this new model offers no real upgraded hardware specs, especially for docked mode.

The upside is that this means I can save money by not upgrading to this model and save time by not hassling with the preorders!

Still, it is a bit disappointing because I was hoping for a new model that would boost the resolution and performance of existing Switch games.

Ngl, I did get a kick out of the hate comment that said Nintendo should have went bankrupt because of the Switch. I was hoping at least an Nvidia Tegra upgrade for it.

EDIT: Oh **** did anyone notice that someone was using the voice chat app for Splatoon?

All that waiting, and this is it? Garbage. I mean, I am going to get it. I have been waiting for one, but I can't believe this is what I waited for.
This explains the dock shortages. I've been wanting one for my bedroom so i can game on both TVs but they're incredibly high or no longer available.

This is a good lesson in not buying into speculation based on rumors and leaks. Wish there was gonna be a proper Switch Pro, but on the bright side this is better for my wallet.

The chip shortage has probably thrown a wrench into most device maker's plans from phones to consoles.

Yeah. If anything, this is just another giant "L" for all the supposed "insiders" and "leakers." It's why I'm not getting my hopes up for anything that I read or hear about until it is officially confirmed by the official source.

So I am seeing people say this isn't the proper Switch Pro. That we will get that with Breath of the Wild 2. Oh no...
