That guy best be careful about touching her. She'll end up suing him.
Actually it was Johnny Depp, who got a judge to call him a wife beater, who did the suing. So as long as they don't physically assault her and then try to sue her over mentioning this later, they should be fine.

Pretty sure it has more to do with enabling an abuser to continue to work while firing the other. But hey, generalize all you want I guess.

There was always just a slim chance of her getting fired.
Like someone pointed out before, Depp only got fired because he made a bigger deal about it.

What was it, he sued a Newspaper who called him an Abuser? and lost.
Heard isnt innocent or so, she just kept her mouth shut.

Yeah WB didnt care at all until it was actually ruled by a legitimate court that he was an abuser.

What are the people who wrote fake news stories about Amber Heard getting fired from the movie going to do now?

You should read the comments. Gentle Angel Johnny Depp didn't do a thing. #JusticeforJohnny.

The vast majority of online discourse for this has very little care for abuse victims, or reality. It's a classic tidal wave of misogyny. They found a woman they can yell at, and they are doing it. And in the process turned a known abuser into a deity.

I wonder/hope if we'll get introduced to Garth in the sequel.

Id say introducing Jackson/Kaldur would be cool but....given how young manta seems to be I dont see it happening unless he happens to be his secret half sibling.

I REALLY hope Manta gets even more shine this time out.

I have to say that there's a lot of nuance to how they set up Manta's character in the first film.

In all honesty, hero or not, marauding pirates or not, Arthur leaving his father to die was a **** heel move and criminal murderer or not most of us get Manta's issues with the titular hero. I hope this isn't just glossed over.

Black Manta coming back to wreck Aquaman's **** is what I'm excited to see in the sequel.
