I discovered some cable companies can give you a broadcast only package which is just OTA channels with CSPAN. You still have to buy their box.
WarnerMedia is offering a half-off discount on HBO Max now that HBO is no longer available on Amazon Prime Video Channels.
Today through September 26, the monthly subscription cost will be $7.49 for up to six months for anyone who had accessed HBO via the Channels platform. The discount is available to both new and returning subscribers.
Still have to get it directly from them so those who have HBO Max with YouTube TV or Hulu Live will not be able to get it without losing their linear channels.
Hulu's raising its prices by $1.
Speculation is to retain NBC shows from going to Peacock.Idk why....I've noticed that some of their cable shows arent even next day anymore.
NBC tried to force YouTube TV to bundle Peacock into customers' monthly payment
I wonder if the new CEO is going to screw things up. Every time Disney does something, it seems like they make a bizillion dollars.

Yeah I was looking into this for my mom and dad who are both elderly. Mom can't see so she relies on Alexa she can't do on-demand streaming like my dad and me. The problem is she loves her some HGTV, Lifetime, History, Bravo, and Fox News. I got her Hulu Live, but when it stops working (like the app freezes or Alexa doesn't want to work) and I'm not around she gets very frustrated since my dad doesn't know how it works all that well either. The cable company nearby charges way too much and now they're pushing their customers to use their app to stream their channels as well.thats what I do just for my local news and since i got the amazon fire stick
i have hulu with ads and peacock with ads
hbo max and netflix disney plus all premium prices
binge apple tv at a lady friends house
