Star Wars Visions (Anime Anthology)

What's the runtime of each of these stories? 30 minutes or less?

Eric Whiteley and the Blind Wave crew from YouTube got a screener of the series and loved it.

My body is so ready for this, only two days away!! :mrk::mrk:

I didn't realize that these were all dropping at once and that they weren't canon.

Disney seems to be easing up a tiny bit on canon. They even started recording new unabridged audio books of the Legend canon. Hopefully Visions is a success, and Disney will allow more new Legend projects.

That's real good news. Still, I thought all Disney-produced content from 2012 onward would be canon or bust.

The Ninth Jedi's 22 minutes were better than the entirety of the sequel trilogy. The saber smith, the sith hunters, the lightsabers being dim without a strong connection to the Force, red lightsabers only being red when wielded by a Sith...

Its like something cooked up in the mind of someone that has only watched the OT, and hasnt been influenced by all the canon that came after 1983. I ****ing loved it, and want more of it!

Got as far as this episode, and my god it was astounding. The plot twists within a plot twist all within 22 minutes, great stuff. I can see a few being upset at some of the lore liberties it takes but my goodness how refreshing and imaginative characters and stories it has come up with so far. This and The Duel I could have taken 2 hour long stories of, they were that good.

This might be a stupid question but how can I make it into the English voiceover?

I'm pretty whelmed with this series. I really enjoyed the first episode quite a bit. Episode 2-3 were... Definitely not for me. The Rock music did not blend in well with the Star Wars universe to me. In-universe SW music has always been much more unique and less "Earthly" idk... this is coming from someone who loves that type of music too. Too much insanity in the third one. Standing outside a ship when it goes to hyperspace was... just too much.

The score in episode 4 was brilliant. Definitely the highlight for the soundtrack in the series for me. Episodes 7-9 were enjoyable, the rest were kinda just average.

But glad people are loving it. I had a little bit different... "vision" for this series, but I will give it credit for being fresh and creative. And glad to see a good bit of people have enjoyed it.

I think my ranking of all the episodes would be something like this, there a few I thought from the trailers I wouldnt enjoy as much as I did, others didnt work for me quite so well but overall I really enjoyed the majority of it, if I had one nitpick it would be that there a few too many episodes that were very jedi/sith/lightsaber focused, although the rock band one wasn't high on my list of them it at least was a nice change of pace to the rest that were all came down to a lightsaber duel of some sort and some did it a lot better than others:

1. The Ninth Jedi (Ep5)
2. The Duel (Ep1)
3. The Elder (Ep7)
4. The Village Bride (Ep4)
5. Lop and Ocho (Ep8)
6. Tatooine Rhapsody (Ep2)
7. The Twins (Ep3)
8. Akakiri (Ep9)
9. TO-B1 (Ep6)

Even the episodes I wasnt quite so keen on at least had some interesting ideas and cool designs even if the story and action didnt quite hit like some of the ones higher up the list. Overall though I cant wait to see more of of the same or another batch of different stories in a similar vain. Some sort of hinted at sequels or potential to carry on the story so its interesting to see where this goes from here.

Jedi Fallen Order had rock music by the Mongolian band, The Hu.

Star Wars Rebels also had Zeb and Ezra listening to some rock music once too.
