I am currently replaying Far Cry 4 (after I have finished replaying FC5, 3, and New Dawn). In preparation for Far Cry 6.

For me, replaying Far Cry 4, this is my 5th time overall in replaying it (2 times in PS3 and 3 times including now in PS4). I just love this game. This game is what introduced me to Far Cry series and to the overall Ubisoft open world style game. The game had the most beautiful scenery Himalayans mountains I ever seen in a video game. Plus the nature of the story which we can choose several options which can lead to 3 different endings is what makes Far Cry 4 (for me) is the most replayable games in all these years I have played video games. And the friendly gameplay time (which less than 80 hours including finishing all campaign missions, side missions and clearing all area) and a very much fun gameplay.

Besides FC4, I have played Sangoku Musou 7 (Dynasty Warriors 7) 3 times, Judge Eyes (2 times), The Last of Us Part II (2 times), Spider-Man Miles Morales (2 times in PS5).

For Nintendo, I have routinely played Mario Kart 7 on my 3DS and Donkey Kong Returns on Switch.

So, what is your most replayable video games titles that you ever played so far? Be that is from PS, Nintendo, XBox, Sega and others.

So, ignoring various "digital boardgame" and "roguelike" type stuff that is entirely premised on short games repeated infinitely. . .

Alpha Protocol. I think I've played it through at least 6-7 times, which is a lot for a full bore western RPG, even one that is "only" about 30 hours long. Its one of the rare substantial games where I beat it the first time, and then immediately started it again. Why? Because I've yet to encounter a game with a better branching story. There are a *lot* of ways the game can play out differently based on chosen personality and major plot decisions, with not just the events but the overall style of the game changing. Its very much a "spy movie simulator" in the same way that the Arkham games are a "Batman simulator". . . and pretty much every playthrough resulted in discovering some new bit of information, trick, or potential plot/character outcome. In fact, pretty much the only reason I haven't played it again several more times is that I semi-retired my 360 on which I played it.

The one that first comes to mind is Maximum Carnage. You don't get anything when you beat the game, but I still enjoy running through this in a short period all the way to the final fight with Carnage.

Part of what keeps me going back is occasionally changing things up- when I'd pick Spider-Man's route over Venom's and vice-versa- or seeing how many levels I can go through without using any of the assist heroes. Plus, the soundtrack is still one of my favorites in any game, even for a SNES title.

Beyond that...maybe Star Fox 64.

Megaman X4, I guess.
It's my favorite in the series and I can beat it quickly.

Sometimes I miss these smaller games...

Arkham Asylum and Arkham City were very replayable to me. Especially with City's extra skins. I also find Resident Evil 5 replayable too, it's just a fun game to go through.

Mega Man 2 and 4

Castlevania IV

Metroid Fusion

Earthworm Jim

Vectorman

Overwatch

But it hit a brick wall since they stopped adding new characters.

A good chunk of Rockstar's games. GTA III, Vice City, San Andreas, GTA IV, GTA V, and Red Dead Redemption 1 & 2 for sure. I've beaten all of those games at least twice.

Spider-Man PS4 - it's still fun to swing through the city three years later.

Guitar Hero/Rock Band series - I know it's been a while since these were popular but these are always fun to revisit.

Both Spider-Man games for the PS4 (Peter & Miles)
COD: Blackops 1 & 2 & Ghost & MW
The Order
Until Dawn
Detroit
RE: Biohazard
Arkham Origins
Ghost Recon Wildlands
The Division 1 & 2
DC Universe Online

I don't think I can replay any open world game from scratch aside from Shadow of the Colossus. But open world games are definitely what I reinstall when i just want to free roam and cause distraction to the environment.

Fighting games used to be replayable to me as well but my preference changed.

On PC I mostly play old-school CRPGs like Fallout 1-2, Arcanum, Diablo 1-2... Out of never games it's Witcher 2-3. I finished Cyberpunk only once, but I'm just waiting for CDPR to patch it properly and fill it with expansions, so I can dive deeper.

These days the games became so big (especially in my favorite genres), that it's hard to replay them over and over again. 2-3 times already feels like special achievement, because each playthrough can take up 100 hours or more. In adult life you don't have that much time anymore.

On consoles:
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. My most beloved platformer of all time. I 100% it dozens and dozens of times over the years and still keep playing it.

Halo ODST/Reach

For anyone that still has a functional ps2, I highly recommend Ace Combat 0 as a very replayable game. Not only because of how fun it is, but mainly due to having 3 different ways to play it. And based on how you play, you can encounter all kinds of different enemy ace squads.
