Riverdale Welcome to Riverdale: General Discussion

The problem with season 5 is how jumbled it is. After the jump, all the relationships were severed. Their personalities all completely and abruptly changed so now us, as an audience, no longer have any emotional connection to them. Not to mention the random, not connecting story lines each character personally has. The entire essence of what Riverdale once was has been trashed. Just saying...

I’ve fallen off the last half of this season, but between this and reading that Archie and Betty are a real thing now, I’m gonna have to catch up quick.

Perhaps Archie will find a new lover with Sabrina.

I stopped watching this round season 4 but I’m going to catch up on Netflix and then watch tonight’s episode sometime before the next. Wish me luck.

Just saw the episode of young Hiram and thought it was pretty good, much better than the average Riverdale episode lol.

Riverdale 100th episode goes retro,
Love seeing that rack of comic books.

I don't watch this show, but I did out of curiosity glance at this week's episode to see how it would integrate Sabrina.

Given how she was what many were looking forward to, I can't be too surprised that she only appeared in the last 10 minutes.

I just restarted watching Riverdale (I had watched the first 4 seasons) and, oh boy, do I hate season 5 so far. I see hints of them possibly trying to get back to the relationships and things like they were previously, but it is so bad right now. I really hope once I get to season 6 it is much better.

I still can't get over how all the marketing for this event centered on her and then she was barely in 10 minutes of the whole thing. :funny: Peak Riverdale.

Eagerly anticipating the look of disgust on Classic Jughead’s face when he finds out Riverdale Jughead has ****ed both Betty and Pop Tate’s granddaughter.

My viewing of this show has been quite disjointed but I’m fully up to date now. I think it’s the only long running (5/6 seasons plus) and ongoing show that Im fully up to date on.

At last, the cast is free.

The Cast was good, I hope that someone would think of making a TV movie (or HBO Max) with them, with no ties to existing series and with different writers, it can be done on new budget restrictions (under $35 million) placed by Zaslav.

Riverdale season 1: Archie gets stage fright trying to play his guitar

Riverdale season 6:
"The diner cannot be torn down or else the ghosts that haunt it will disappate and the battle with the eldritch evil cannot take place and Percival will buuld himself a ghost train that grants the conductor power over the living and dead. It's all starting to make sense now."
"Is it?"

At last, the cast is free.
Unfortunately it’s impossible to do anything as good as Riverdale so it’s downhill from here, unless they can get a role in Venom 3. Actually Venom wouldn’t even stand out if he went to Riverdale.

Percival is quite a good villain. Enjoying catching up on this show every few weeks.

I love when Riverdale does its musical episodes. Really good cast for this. Shame there’s not more. :O
