Hi all,

The Russo’s have said if they come back they would love to do a Secret Wars movie. I would also love this!



Would you like to see a Secret Wars movie? It would be cool to see cool new characters like Volcana and it’s a perfect way to introduce the Foxverse

I'm a DC guy mainly but I did read the original Secret Wars waaay back. If there was a movie for that I'd definitely be up for it (the Cap movies are some of my very favourite CBMs, I loved Infinity War, and I'm really looking forward to seeing Endgame)!

Give it time.... people get burned out on a character but later want to revisit them. Its why some long term sequels happen in franchises.... with the de-aging tech they have in cgi now, its not a problem... heck we are just about to the point where actors likeness can be used without them doing much more than voice acting ... which will open up flexibility in the future....

People are bringing up Secret Wars all the time and adding it as a film wishlist but I don't get the hype. The secret wars I read(pretty sure if was that)was about some heroes actually being skrulls for years with the real heroes trapped somewhere in the galaxy.

I don't want that **** on screen in the mcu with the twist sone of the heroes or villains being skrulls all this time and especially one of the big ones

Avengers 5 = Dark Reign/Seige
Avengers 6 = Secret Wars

It’s interesting, I was just reading the first part of it today and they referred to Monica Rambeau as Captain Marvel. Interesting that they’re adding Monica in now

It for sure seems like this will be the next big mcu Avengers event. Is it crazy to think that phase 4 & beyond might be more ambitious than the Infinity Saga?

Anyone who said that they were done with the mcu after phase 3 is on crack.

Would Secret Wars just be a single film or a two-part epic like Infinity War and Endgame?

But where would you split it if it were two parts? Where Doom kills all the heroes? That's in issue 11 of 12 though, and right near the end.

But is one film enough to do the story justice?

I'd rather it were the original 80s Secret Wars though and not the updated 2000s version. I bet they'd combine elements of both though.

Really feels like this is what is being worked towards now as the next mega-event. If the Russos want to come back for this after a long break I’m sure Feige would welcome them aback after all their MCU successes.

I kinda dread seeing the actors from the non mcu films, like Hugh Jackman and Fassbender. But if they bring those actors back, I'd like to see Wesley Snipes, Jennifer Garner, Nicholas Cage, Ioan, Halle Berry, Famke Jannsen, James Marsden, Kate Mara and Jessica Alba even just for cameos.

I am both excited and worried that we're getting two Avengers movies in one year.

Still... anyone think it's a little too early for them to get into Secret Wars?

Unless they announce Spider-Man 4 will be released before 2025, does that mean we'll have to potentially wait until 2025 before seeing Tom's Spider-Man again?

Also, I wonder if they'll bring back either Tobey or Anderw for this as well.

I’ll be curious how much of the story they keep beyond heroes and villains teleported to another world to fight each other.
