got one this morning they had 6 bundles at my game stop I was there around 1 1/2 hour before they opened I was 3rd in line out 5 there got it all set up I am SO happy. what is neat there is enough space between my PS5 and my Series X I can fit my Switch dock between them nice.

I also got a 2nd controller in black and got the docking station to charge both. I plan on getting the black outer panels to replace the white ones. Sadly the ones by Sony are sold out only the 3rd party ones are out there, I will live with the white ones till I can get the black color ones.

Is it terrible that my response is "Yes. And?" Or possibly "Then make smaller games with reduced production values. You've done it before, you can do it again. Surely, your talent as a developer isn't limited purely to increased pixel count, right?"

Its clear that they won't get to maXimize profits, if new games like Horizon, Spider-Man, God of War, Last of Us, and whatever Ps Studio game out there are accessible in a subscription service the same day they hit retail stores/PSN.

I just wonder how is this working out for Xbox and recent AAA games?

Having Rdr2 and ACV are nice but then I realize these games aren't really that new anymore.

I think this is the closest they would get to a XboX game pass, but still weird that they are actually committing to it.

Anew ip was already confirmed last year when they confirmed Days Gone 2 isn't happening.

I'm not interested in multiplayer... I'm guessing it'd be like GTA Online. Multiplayer in an open world setting. I hope multiplayer is just a side thing.

Sony's fascination with live service in this gen is just not eXciting for me. Just give me those open world single player third person games that they released somany times in Ps4.

So I just got the Playstation Plus Premium. It looks like it's pretty awesome, but I'm disappointed in the lack of classic games. I get they can't release all of them at once, but Games like Metal Gear Solid and Twisted Metal were on my to play list.

Nice i just checked my ps account and have the premium account i don’t know why though… I also tried using the streaming option on my iPad but it didn’t work because of my screen resolution on my iPad can’t handle it even though my I was able to when I had ps now

For me its weird seeing their "eXclusives" not being eXclusive to PlayStation anymore.

And its just a matter of time before Ghost of Tsushima is ported to PC. I feel like Sony just created this idea before that you have own a Ps4 just to play these games and just a few years later, they are all ported to Pc.... its just weird to me.

I put it down as a new iteration on the classic Sony Hubris Cycle. In this case, they've convinced themselves that they are so invincible that they don't actually need exclusives, "nobody" will want to wait a couple years for a PC release. Probably because they've drunk too much of their own "Only new stuff matters, only the release window matters" marketing coolaid.

for me as a non pc player and a Playstation player, I'm just not getting anything to this. Like maybe if Microsoft starts porting their games to PlayStation, okay. I have something more to play. And I'm not sure if the revenue they are getting from Pc sales are ramping up the production of more Ps games and I'm assuming big Sony games would still take years if not longer than 3 years. I'd still wait 3 to 5 years for a sequel.

Exactly. Sony expects $300M in revenue from PC sales for this fiscal year (April '22 to March '23):

And as you said, more people will actually get to play these games but some people are apparently upset by that fact.

I'm not upset that people who don't own a PlayStation get to play Sony's games.

It was/is just misleading that Sony marketed those games as "only to PlayStation", its written in the boX art of those games(well I have those in my physical copy) and almost all of the big Sony's ps4 games" aren't only to PlayStation anymore. In short, Sony didn't stick to their word.

Also Microsoft owns XboX.... its not like they made their games available to their competition. Well Sony did.

I think they're starting to, thought. I mean this recent news about being able to play Game Pass games directly from an app on Samsung TVs is a huge step in that direction.

Microsoft's gaming competition are Sony and Nintendo. I wasn't talking about TVs/computers.
