Not watching this movie if she's in it. Especially after watching the trial.

People can say whatever they want about Depp and his issues, but he did not deserve this.

If WB booted him off Fantastic Beats over rumours, then there's no reason to keep her when it's been shown and proved in the court of law that she tried to defame him.

What's crazy is WB apparently (this may just be a rumor, not sure) had a test screening with AH'S screen time doubled. It was apparently met with a resounding "NO"

WB needs to realize a lot of people will gladly NOT pay to see this if she's in it...

If the test audience are giving it a resounding no, what makes you think the General Audience won't as well? Time will tell. I do believe this will have more of an effect than some believe...

The small number of people who care about this will see the movie anyway to shirt on Heard's acting in the film. As for the general audience, even if they are aware of the Depp/Heard trial, they probably believe that Heard was the true victim based on all the anti-Depp articles publicized (even after the trial) by the mainstream media. I'm not defending Heard but I'm just saying that this won't make a dent in the film's box office or overall reception one way or the other.

"No" doesn't mean they still won't see the film. Even the ones who were against Heard and don't want her in the movie I doubt they'd all go as far as to not watch Aquaman 2, especially since she won't be a prominent figure in marketing.

It's also the age of impatience. I doubt there are many people who would be willing to wait even 45-60 days to watch it at home just because of Heard.

Honestly, it is too much of a hassle...i rather wait for it to be on streaming or buy the blu-ray later of movies.
I became way too lazy for illegal streaming and all its annoying little hassles.

So I just saw the latest is Amber Heard is cut from Aquaman 2 and to be recast which I think is the best result. This news just broke and yet her camp were still insisting last night that she was still in the movie and that the idea of her being cut and recast was bonkers. But there we have it!

I love the character of Mera and I would much rather have an actress do her justice. Amber Heard was visually stunning in the role, but she just didn't feel right for me.

Agree 100% with your post. Hopefully it is indeed true she is cut, and they will recast the role and film a few new scenes with the actor.

I don't really care whether she's in or out. It's not going to stop me from watching the movie in a theater when it comes out. I'm sure a lot of actors are sorta nuts, but unless there is some really egregious, criminal activity, I'll deal with it.

How do we even know that rumor is even true? We don't-- so it does no good to base any confusions off that I don't think it'll be as successful as the first-- lots of strong feelings out there about WB and DCU or it DCEU-- whatever the case the movie has some obstacles and while I don't think Amber will play a major factor it is added to that long list of obstacles -- I'll give u that
