One circling around on social media. I've seen some like J. Scott Campbell take part (hell, I was surprised he took one of my suggestions lol...and I know it was mine because I was the only one that suggested David from The Lost Boys ) but you ask for a bunch of characters to do a fan art piece, and I supposed they're supposed to be quicker/sketchy types, since I'm taking so long doing them, while others knock one out a day :/

Since the real-airbrush illustration doesn't seem to want to photograph or scan well (for print reproduction, online images of it turn out fine) I'm restarting it completely digital at high resolution so I can get the sharpness I demand. Hopefully it turns out well because I haven't really gone past the sketchy-phase when it comes to digital

It's been a trial getting the full digital drawing thing down, but the underdrawing's done (or at least the greytoning of everything is).

Unfortunately I've got nothing new. Been focusing on trying to get the book query'd (searching for agents) and while 3 got back to me with rejections, the rest have been silent. I really might have to self publish, which pretty much means it's doomed because I can't funnel money for marketing

Thanks. This was the 4th version of a cover that I finally was happy with. It's all digitally illustrated too, in Affinity Photo with a Wacom tablet.

Been a while, but got off my butt and got some new art going. This is a current work in progress. More acrylic airbrush and color pencil.
