Are Steam downloads slow for anybody else lately?

Just started a download to check... I'm getting between 8-9 MB/s which is below my peak rate (15'ish MB/s).

I suppose Steam is getting hammered from all the downloads for Lost Ark...

Mine is normally 9-10 MB/s but the last few days it's been dropping to 5 or even lower which is insane.

Is it just Steam?

Look in Steam > Settings > Downloads and select the closest region to you or another one to test. Also, make sure the bandwidth limit checkbox isn't ticked like it was for me (I set it to 9 MB/s for some reason ).

They gave X-COM 2 last week, but apparently it's an unpatched version so it's very buggy...

The first two Postal games are free on GOG if you're into trashy games.

I don't think it matters how many free games the Epic Launcher gives away, it will never replace Steam as the Premier launcher & main games hub of the majority of PC gamers.

I've claimed about a dozen free games on it, some of which I already owned on Steam as they were years old like some/all of the Arkham franchise which I believe I got for free, I've literally never used the launcher for anything other than when I was trying out Fortnite.
