Black Panther Wakanda Forever - IMAX TEASER TRAILER - 4K UHD

That new Black Panther EP slaps.

The trailer was good but they should have recast... The MCU needs BP and more importantly they need T'challa. Specially now that we know Secret Wars is coming. Go get a TChalla from another dimension or something. We need him.

Personally glad they didn't recast but I understand both sides

Black Panther is needed, but T'challa would be one hell of a difficult recasting process

but I can easily see them pulling in a good, noble N'Jadaka/Killmonger who grew up with his cousin coming in as a new Panther for Secret Wars

I wouldnt mind a multiversal Tchalla or even a Tchalla Jr from the future stuck in the past or trapped in mcu multuverse. Setting up the galactic wakanda of sorts in a future movie.

In the long term, they need to recast the role eventually imo.

I haven't really seen a convincing argument to not recast role.

That said, I can see why it would be a bit soon to recast the part now.

But that's a different argument from the whole " We should never recast T'Challa", which again, I don't buy , even with the emotional sentiment behind it.

But, the film is coming and at this point , all I can do is judge WF for what it is and not what I would have preferred .

The first BP lacked action scenes.

This movie introduces Namor.

We need action.

I've always had the stance that they should recast...just not in this movie. Have T'challa just not be present for the film's events. Come up with a reason he cannot be here. Then in the 3rd BP movie he comes back but recast. I very much respect Marvel's decision and I think its heartening that they're honoring Boseman in this way so I dont have a problem with it but...ultimately I think we need to have T'Challa back in the MCU in the future.
I wanted a recast but this is probably the best way to go with having a vacant period and then a new T’Challa. Can’t imagine a BP3 working without him. I don’t want Shuri to take over, wouldn’t mind with any of the other existing characters.

Think the multiverse stuff will be there way of bringing in a new T'Challa or male BP from the same bloodline. This may have Okoye or someone in the suit briefly but don't think it is longterm. Not expecting Killmonger to return from the dead either.

It had the chase scene.
T'Challa opening fight scene
T'Challa vs M'Baku
the chase scene
Killmonger vs T'Challa
final battle

I felt it was plenty but focused on the story. I am not expecting more action, not who Coogler is.

I feel like it needed alot more, but especially with the next one, Namor is a hot head, a physically imposing character who wants to fight everyone all the time. It has to have more action.

And I hope the sequel does the same thing. I do expect there to be more spectacle in WF but I hope he keeps the movie at it's core more character driven like the first one. There's a reason why it's one of the most discussed MCU film among the gp outside of the Marvel bubble.

Disagree. It didnt need more action or otherwise it would have been like most MCU films.

What it needed was better executed action scenes in the 3rd act.

I also think part of the problem was that Marvel chopped down the action scenes we did get. The Waterfall fights especially were rumored to be much longer.

Hmmm, I think if you want to differentiate yourself from other MCU films, theres better routes to take then to minimize your action scenes. Thats just me. I want to see my superheroes get into super action.

But I agree with you, I might feel differently if they had pulled off the 3rd act and if the waterfalls fights were longer.

I can't help but think the final escalation of conflict in the Black Panther trilogy (part III), will be the West/NATO trying to invade Wakanda.

That's the only way I can see them topping Wakanda Forever -- > 'World War Wakanda'.

Disney has moved David O Russell's AMSTERDAM, previously scheduled for November 4th, to October 7th. Might be a sign that WAKANDA FOREVER is moving into that slot.
