Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

The only version that I can find was clearly recorded off of somebody's phone.

What I also really like regarding Quantumania is that, Scott hasn't really had to go somewhat solo against a very dangerous villain like Kang before. Guy is going to be shaken up big time.

Classic Paul Rudd tradition. Bravo. :funny:

Dude didn't even had a villain in his second movie. :oldrazz:

My point exactly. Honestly had almost forgotten Ghost was a thing, she left that little of an impression. :hehe:

But yeah, once Scott meets Kang, he's 99% screwed.

Having Cassie part of the team here should freshen things up. I hope she comes across well as I want her interacting with all the other new young characters asap.

Does anyone have a shot by shot description of the trailer at least?

Just saw a pic of Jhonathan Major without shirt. Dude is huge. Ant-man is gonna sweat in this one.

Do we have any idea who Bill Murray is playing? He seems to be a resident of the Quantum Realm from the trailer. Does anyone have any idea what the rights situation is with Arcturus Rann?

As far as I know it's like this:
- Marvel licensed the Micronauts from Hasbro
- Many of the characters they used they gave new names and designs or created from scratch (Space Glider became Arcturus Rann, Galactic Warrior became Bug, Marionette was created completely from Scratch)
- Marvel lost the license and hasn't made proper "Micronauts" IP content since 1986
- However, they continued to use Rann, Bug, and Marionette since their names and designs were created by Marvel but used names like "The Microns" or "Enigma Force" for the team instead.
- The team as a whole as well as Rann and Marionette have appeared as such until a 2012 story where Scarlet Spider/Kaine and Agent Venom teamed up against Carnage but not since.
- Bug has appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy comics as recently as 2020.
- James Gunn has said that despite Bug's name and design both being created by Marvel and the character's continued use in the comics, Marvel is not allowed to use him in films for some reason, and Gunn has tried to get the character in all 3 GotG movies unsuccessfully.

So... What's the deal?

Sure, but
who is that king? There's a whole bunch of microverse royalty with confusing rights situation around most of them. I think if you're going to have an important resident of the Quantum Realm it would make sense to make him Arcturus Rann, unless they can't use him. There are a couple of characters that Marvel almost certainly has the full rights to like Wayfinder or Psycho-Man, but neither of those neccessarily seem super compelling for this position.

I hope Chronopolis has those pterodactyl creatures

Imagine warming up for Kang with Ghost! It’s going to be a shock to the system.

Look at her knowing Iron Lad
I'm always glad to see the young actors knowing their stuff

You hear interviews with some of the older cast and it's basically like "I dunno, that's some nerd s***"
Especially Hemsworth, he really seems to not give a single f* about comic books, even though they've made his career
