Played a bigger role in the films? He and his relationship with Wolverine? And could he have done so without changing the films from what they are too much?
I really wish Liev Schreiber had played him in the 2000 film (and therefore also gotten a little more dialogue and characterization), he could have done well with just a little more and then even more in later films. Tyler Mane was OK but probably wouldn't have been able to improve much. And though I kind of wish Sabretooth came back in the sequels I also like the somber suggestion that he and Toad actually died at the end of the first film.
