They couldn't even admit what they did. Didn't even apologize to their victims. Once they do that, I'll buy the "help" narrative.I truly hope Miller gets help. Their victims, too.

Also please remember, They/Them.
Jack Black has School of Rock. That's where it ends.Just re The Rock's lack of a decent filmography considering his star status, I watched an interview from Jumanji 2 the other day where he, Hart, Black and Gillan were asked to name their favourite films of their co-stars... oh my god I've never seen anything so awkward. And it went for so long. They barely remembered anything the other people were in and then pulled things like "...Ride Along. One of the comedy classics that'll stand the test of time."

I think there should be a distinction between what is a realistic concept and what is a realistic depiction of any given concept. Game of Thrones was a show that had dragons, magic and undead armies, but it was still presented in a grounded way. There was absolutely nothing realistic in what was shown but it was realistic in the way that was shown. Meaning that while it was a universe full of fantastical elements, the characters and situations felt real. Similarly there are shows that deal with very realistic themes that are still be shown in a ridiculous or over the top way. There was nothing grounded about the guy who wears a bulletproof suit and uses his barehands, when if he just walked around with a gun, he'd have a far higher win percentage. He was on a show with a blind lawyer with superpowers, who hung out with a super strong woman, a bulletproof man, a woman who was resurrected, and man with a glowing fist.

Pathetic. This person should not be continually propped up like this. What about the victims? All those people who don't get the kind of attention and leeway this reprehensible moron does, because they're not rich, part of a movie franchise, and famous.
And even then, there’s a distinct difference between the way Miller is being handled to other celebrities who have found themselves in (much milder) hot water, that I find deeply hypocritical.

I expected someone to play that card at least, but instead it was... "Man, Goosebumps. Incredible movie. Loved it."

What do you mean? I haven’t seen a single person - here or otherwise - defend him. If anything, Miller’s being treated worse than others. (And I’m not saying they shouldn’t be.)
I have to admit, I’ve never seen the appeal of Jack Black. I actually do like him in the Jumanji movies but everything else? Bleh. I think I’ve never been able to see him as anything other than the D-bag from that sexist cesspool of a movie, Shallow Hal.
Well nobody looked good on the one in retrospect, I can't blame him anymore than the other hundreds of people who worked on it
And he's f***in Tenacious D, gotta respect
There's not all that many A-list actors/top movie stars who would put a film of this budget at risk, and Ezra is not even proven at any level. Barely any positives and an unbelievable amount of risk signing them up to a future project. Got to be one of the worst risk/return tradeoffs around.Miller's career is over no matter what happens.
If WBD is forced to shelve Flash indefinitely, Miller will be remembered in Hollywood as box office poison whose behavior ended up costing a studio hundreds of millions of dollars. It's not like they're an A-List superstar - what other studio would realistically hire them after all this? Well maybe Sony...
And even if Flash is released and becomes a huge global hit, Miller's legal and civil issues will be so extensive that they wouldn't be available for any potential sequel within any reasonable timeframe anyway. WBD will have no choice but to recast if they want a viable franchise.
So long...
