I actually went to where they filmed the first movie today. No luck finding the actual Atlantis though haha. Wish they had cashed in a bit more on it like having a gift shop or something. Some decent merch at least

That Sequel is a year away, we will have this talk when we cross that bridge i think.
If the Sequel really makes again a Billion...then it would be really really dumb not to make a third.

If you are 2 for 2, not going 3 for 3 would be idiotic, no matter the plan.
But then we need to know the plan to begin with and all.

There are at the moment too many open questions to this all to make any predictions or so.

Mainly it comes down to what Gunn and Safran plan, then the box office of Aquaman 2.

Oh i absolutely dont trust the Report, but i can also see them going for a set plan after all the back and forth etc for years now.
I could see them decide on it and willing to bite into the sour apple for the bigger picture even if Aquaman 2 is a huge success.

But yeah, i dont trust that Report at all, even though THR is a bit stronger source for such things.

I think a Lobo solo movie is just a bad idea in general. Introduce him in a different movie first as a side character and see if it works first.

I keep hearing from YouTubers that this movie is going to bomb. Then I looked at the competition it is going to have and I think it will have a similar run as the first movie. Plus China loved the first movie. Not to say this movie will do Avatar movie numbers but it is the only movie of any name that is coming out during the Holidays.

It won’t bomb but I don’t think that’ll be enough to guarantee a sequel without a reboot sometime in the future

You have to realize that they all are just doing their videos for clicks...and negativity gets more clicks often.
My advice is to not listen to any of these clickbaiters ever.

The Movie outside of the Amber Heard situation, has good legs at the moment.
Its impossible to say now if it will do a Billion again, but if the trailers are good, the marketing solid...there is no way its going to bomb.

In the end its all speculation etc until we have Trailers etc that give us some kind of impression of the vibe.
At the moment, everyone in this forum can guess better the performance of this movie at this stage, than any of these clickbaiters.

Good call and advise. I remember all the rumors about the first movie. James Wan leaving the project, Marry Poppins and Transformers was going to smash it, ect. It’s the highest grossing DCEU movie of all time and certainly the most entertaining. Looking forward to the sequel.
