It’s insane that him and Craig where like tooth and tooth for Casino Royale. Even now I’m extremely dubious of Cavill as Bond, but especially back then.
Yeah, it's pretty wild .
The other two Bond runner ups were Hawaii 5-0s Alex O'Loughlin and ER's Goran Visnjic.
Say what you want about Cavill but he’s a million times better than Hawaii 5-0 guy.
They are literally the exact same level of charisma-free planks of wood. The 5-0 guy just does a less-stilted American accent.
Luka was almost Bond?!Yeah, it's pretty wild .

What about the other basic unknown… Christopher Reeve?
I consider Jackman’s casting the definitive unknown casting. Unless someone in the states was keeping tabs on Australian musical theater, they might as well have cast someone right off the street.
Another name I remember back in the day was Jude Law.
This is exactly what they do, and they forget the basics that make Superman great. No need to be embarrassed of the past. Superman is just as good a fit for this generation as it was for earlier ones.Because WB overcomplicates what a superman film "should" and could be.
I just wonder… if Black Adam underperforms, does that mean Superman is effectively dead again?
Cameos with no movies in the near future. Finished that thought for you.Not necessarily. I have to imagine they’re all in.
So glad to hear that Supes has been reduced to a character with no head or just a post credit scene.
Basically if this is true then we won't see Cavill for another 2 years.
Why can't we just get a damn solo Superman movie like Batman gets.
Cavill has filmed two scenes for the Flash as well. He’s in an action scene and as a reporter in the final scene.
Word is his deal includes a solo film and Cavill has creative input like he wanted. Due to the fact he liked Joss Whedon’s Superman, apparently he’s been allowed to bring Geoff Johns in as a consultant
