This episode was great.
Yeah, the DS9 stuff was great. Wonderful to hear Visiter and Shimmerman back in the roles. Though, Shimmerman tried, Quark does sound different without the teeth prosthetics. But it was great to see the new, chain restaurant version of Quarks. Kira and Shrax together was perfect. I loved that Shrax hated DS9, because it was a Cardassian design, a monument to fascism.
Boid Boimler going all in on the dabo tables was great. And the final bit, pointing out the slight congruity of Starfleet officers gambling on the show was great.
Jennifer is perfect for Mariner. Also will never stop being funny of how Boimler seems to have a lot of people crushing on him. And Mariner's reaction.
And I love Mesk, the Orion version of Worf. Nice to get a little bit more showing of the Mistress of the Winter Cluster's history, if just references to how she was raised.
