I kind of rolled my eyes the first time...but when I took my buddy to see the film he went bat[bleep] crazy over that reveal and my father seemed to enjoy it as well. Upon repeated viewings I really started to like it.

I see that Craig Zobel directed all 7 episodes of Mare of Easttown and it ended up with 16 Emmy nominations ( 4 wins). Sounds like a good get for the series, if this is true.

I’m actually curious about how old this Penguin is supposed to be. If he’s Farrell’s actual age, I guess that could work. There’s a 20 year age difference.

But the make-up does give the effect that Oswald might be older than that.

A show could still do that. This day in age some shows get as much internet buzz and attention as movies. Just look at what the format has done for Daredevil.
