DD hallway fight!
Big fan of legal dramas, lol.
Umm, that is not what the show was doing at all. "Female lawyer" awards are an actual thing. The show was very smartly showing how the toxic big law culture hands out these awards rather than fixing the structural inequities that make for a very uneven playing field.I thought they found the right balance of humor for Matt and still feels like the same Matt from the Netflix show.
Glad they had someone address how stupid sounding a “female lawyer” award is. It’s not like sports where there are physical differences that can affect performance.
But disappointed that brief hallway fight wasn’t one take.
Find someone who looks at you the way Jen looked at Matt in that scene.
(Yeah yeah, I know he came back in No Way Home but this felt like the real return)
Fantastic episode, probably the best one yet.
Matt's return was amazing and the chemistry that Cox and Maslany have is insane. I was loving their team up and the aftermath with Matt leaving the next morning.
Looking forward to what goes down in the finale next week but I'm also looking forward to Jen and Matt crossing paths again at some point.
The Sokovia Accords were basically null and void once Thanos showed up. What else needs to be said about them?
The Sokovia Accords? I disagree. They weren't pointless, they were the catalyst for the Avengers breaking up and essentially allowing Thanos to win.Felt like a fairly pointless detour.

The Bucky frame job played a part in it but Steve, Sam, Wanda and Clint didn't refuse to sign the Accords because of Bucky. The rift in the team would've been there even without Bucky's involvement in the story. They didn't do anything with the Sokovia Accords. There was no INITIATIVE. Also the Catalyst was the Bucky frame job, not the Accords.
All those concerns seem even more overblown now with how well they handled Daredevil within a comedy show. This is exactly how it works in the comics with guest stars adapting to the place they are appearing in.Man I loved Matt in this episode. They gave him the perfect balance of serious and funny. This has me hyped for the Born Again series. I’m sure the tone will be different but I don’t mind seeing a lighter side of him. Hearing that theme one more time made me smile and felt kind of comforting.
Also, that suit looks dope. Was never a fan of it in the comics, no matter who the artist was - yet here I love it, I don't get it.
I think because its more gold and less 'yellow' here.
So based on how Daredevil was portrayed in She Hulk, how are you feeling about Born Again?
It's kinda ironic that the only man who truly understands Jen is blind and yet he sees her completely clearly on both parts as a lawyer and upcoming superhero.
Matt Murdock is a complex man
