People have gone out in DROVES to see Deadpool. Of course they're event films. And this one just trumped them all.

Considering the very, very little change in the box office between the first and second film, combined that, frankly, Jackman's Wolverine hasn't exactly been a super powerful box office draw before, yeah, I think I have sufficient data to say that it ain't cracking a billion. GOTG is in a similar situation.

Although I like the Deadpool films, I couldn't give a $#! about Reynolds self-hype drama non-event that is Deadpool vs Wolverine.

You’re kidding yourself if you really think a Deadpool and Wolverine film is a non-event lol.

No, i'm acknowledging its Reynolds self-hyped generated drama, lemmings will follow on mass.
While the classic more interesting (to me) fight, goes left unmade.

This Wolverine is probably going to be a variant; Deadpool is going to end up in Earth-616 by the end of the movie.

I'm not shocked, since it seemed like things were just getting started and I know a few other movie delays were a big factor here, but I did think this would be independent of the rest of the schedule so it's a shame that it's delayed.

Wouldn’t surprise me honestly. I’m sure Deadpool 3 will be dealing with the multiverse and being the glue between members of the Fox universe coming over to the MCU permanently.

If they are indeed casting a female villain in that age range it could be Danger. Thoughts?

I'm more and more convinced that this movie (DP3) will clarify "which" Wolverine is canonical to the X-Men Mainstream Movie Universe. Great.

DP3 could confirm that:

1- X-Men Origins: Wolverine
2- Logan (2017)

...are two alternate universes.

I hope, my friend. If Deadpool 3 will be more "serious" than the first 2 chapters, then we can also expect some clarifications about Wolverine and its continuity.

Granted, I love Origins as being part of the Timeline Prime because it shows more Cyclops and his story. Anyway, The Wolverine and DOFP 1973 kinda contradict many events of Origins.

Maybe they will use Mojoworld to make fun of movie studios (like some kind of satire around the Disney-FOX deal and such) and the female villain they were auditioning will actually be Spiral.
