The Batman
had some really cool posters overall, but as the release neared, a few bad ones popped out. Always disliked that one in particular, as it fails to capture the true vibe of the movie. Wayne walking in front of the batmobile is extra corny and the usual generic photoshop montage with fire everywhere is so generic...

Now, for an action movie with Batfleck set in the DCEU? This looks exactly like what it could have been.
And I don't miss it either...

Every poster was great except that one. So of course they use it on HBO Max.

Honestly I think this is the worst one

The floating heads one is definitely mid, but at least it's an attempt. This just looks like they took a random still, slapped the logo onto it and called it a day. It's a great still, sure, but from the perspective of making a movie poster it's by far the laziest one

Batman has never looked better in live action, if I'm being honest with myself.

It’s just well thought out: from it’s practicality and being able to move, realistically makeshift that has pieces like it’s not QUITE finished being it’s Year Two, designed for Pattinson to emote and convey well acted emotions, ALL THE WHILE looking like an authentic Batman suit that doesn’t strive away for the sake of only creative liberty.

I’m trying to be respectful of peoples’ opinions of this film, yet… Reeves and the crew made a workable vision come true in EVERY positive way: the love and care for this particular film is outstanding. When I come across people who don’t like this movie, I can’t help but think that they’re not Batman fans. This is hands down the most Batman film I’ve ever seen from a Batman film.

Even some of the better scores this past year aren't used or had an effect within the film, like The Batman's. The way Reeves used it to film and enhance Pattinson's vibes within the suit should guarantee it for all of the awards. Let alone its scary, beautiful, sad, and hopeful...

We're really doing this "true fans" thing still?

I'm not a huge fan of calling someone's fandom into question all because they didn't like a film. One that, objectively, has a lot to improve on in a sequel.

And while Batman in this film does look good - great, even - I'm not about to pretend it doesn't have room for improvement. Even you said the suit is not quite finished.

This film does have amazing attention to detail, but there is arguably more detail in the style and anesthetics and much less so in the writing and characters. It's a bit uneven, as a result. If the writing was as focused on as the aesthetics and superficial elements - we wouldn't have had people feeling the 'Waynes = Corrupt/Falcone/Alfred' sequence feeling pointless, for instance.

It's a good Batman film.
But I've not bothered with it since it was released on 4K and BluRay.

It doesn't do enough new that entices me and doesn't do enough better than films before.
