Yeah, I doubt there will be too many tears amongst their supporters., like Tunisia going out with the win against France. The last few days have thrown up so much last-minute excitement with the groups. Hopefully the knockouts are just as good.

I think we'll see one upset: Japan defeats Croatia. Japan are playing with a lot of confidence at the moment. They've defeated two heavyweights in Germany and Spain. They won't be afraid of Croatia.They are a fast and quick team with a dangerous counter attack. Croatia will have their hands full.

Yeah Japan would be my pick and I hope Morocco can also give problems to Spain if they come out all guns firing. Switzerland also might not be all that straightforward for Portugal. If US play like they did against England for 90 minutes that should also be interesting and a good watch,

I am not asking them to do anything, lol.
Just a support for our respected rival and fellow Asian nation...haha. If they lose..we surely won't be sharing any tears with them as long as we win over Croatia

Many of us here are just thrilled to have Korea in the R16, and the possibility of meeting them in the quarterfinals. By all means...that's all. Nothing more or less.

I am sorry if my words sounded like I am little over my head. I assure you, that's not my intention at all. We are grateful and thankful. After the historic accomplishments we made at the group stage, I personally couldn't ask for more. If we won, I'd be very happy and grateful...and even if we lose, I'd still be grateful and thankful too. (Because just like I said a few pages ago...we know our places that we are still nothing compared to yours and many strong football nations).

I won't be surprised if the United States doesn't defeat the Netherlands mainly because the Netherlands is a great team that can score more than 2 goals, and could outplay the United States.
The United States is not huge longshots so if they won it wouldn't stunning or surprising.

Holland has the flu apparently, but if they are fit, I feel like they should handle the US with ease. Argentina vs. Australia could get spicy.

Its a strong kockout stage as well, yes we've had a few surprises in Germany and Belgium being big sides not making it through but there's a lot of quality teams left in their. Dont think anyone really has an easy last 16 game even if their is strong favourites in some match ups, and nobody has an easy route to the final, whoever makes it is going to have to earn it. Sometimes you can end up with some lop sided draws but does not appear that way here at all.

Got a feeling we might get a fair few penalty shoot outs as games could be very tight but we shall see.

This World Cup has taken off in the last few days. It’s the teams outside the top 10 who have really made the difference bringing a threat we didn’t know was there and made games that could have been casual strolls into huge dramas.

Edit: nothing is going to match Suarez tears!
