As much as I liked Raimi's version, I was really looking forward to Derrickson's. I bet it would've felt more like a proper Doctor Strange sequel than the Multiverse thing we got.

rewatched it yesterday for the 2nd time.
I liked it first in the cinema but now I think it’s mediocre at best.
I like how Sam Raimi integrated a scary tone and the scenes at Wundagore and the universe of sinister Strange are great.

But the shots in Kamartaj and Illuminati-New York look so awful fake. I hope it’s because of the pandemic and not because they can’t do better with so much projects going around. Because if it was not because of the pandemic, than they have really to scale up the vfx department.

Given that Marvel is overworking VFX workers with time crunches, that should answer your question.

I posted this in the "movie stuff you only now just realized" thread, but found it relevant here too...

When Xavier is inside the mind of 838 Wanda, trying to pull her out from under the ruble, there's an old tv playing an episode of WandaVision.

The Art Of The Movie Book For MOM is now available for pre order on Amazon.

I saw this on twitter and I wanted to add something:
I honestly feel that post credits scene was meant to be originally for Spider-Man: No Way Home.

We know there was a change on the release date. MoM was supposed to be out first, America Chavez was meant to be in NWH bringing the other two Peters instead of Ned and so on.
So I feel like originally we were only gonna have that scary ending and the gag post credits scene in MoM.
Then we get to No Way Home, thinking throughout the movie "Wait, he's normal? Nothing happened after that final scene on his sequel?" only for the post credits scene to be Clea showing up to him because Peter's shenanigans were the last straw.

No the original post credits scene for No Way Home was the one shown in the extended cut with Betty Brant.

Plus wasn't the Clea scene a reshoot or something? I vaguely remember reading something about that.
