She never even became the "Mary Jane" everyone knew even later on. She was just MJ in initials only as much as Michael Jackson was MJ, but that wouldn't make him Mary Jane.

Pretty excited to see Yaya in the role. I’m more excited about him having the role than there being another Disney+ series. Personally I think they should stop making the shows and stick to the movies

Happy for Yahya to get this role and good to see Wonder Man confirmed. Hopefully he can appear in Avengers films down the road.

I prefer if they just make specials or straight to streaming movies. If not limit the shows to 2 per year.

I'm just thinking of how many new series are going to be released before Secret Wars come out in May 2026. About 15? We already know 6 of those.

Are shows for Echo and Agatha really necessary? While the other ones like Falcon/Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, WandaVision, Ms. Marvel and even She-Hulk would have been better off as straight to streaming movies (fewer filler scenes and faster pace). A Daredevil movie sounds way more eXciting than a Daredevil series. While Loki is only useful for introducing Kang, but that entire scene could have been a 5 minute scene in Ant-Man 3.

The shows at this point feel eXtraneous.

Didn't see a thread yet for this one. Now that the lead is cast and they're rumored to be recruiting Bob Odenkirk, I figured we should have one. What are all your thoughts on the upcoming Wonder Man series?

There is one, but it's under the general "Marvel TV" subforum along with most future shows, rather than in "MCU Limited Series" where only the VisionQuest thread is when it comes to future shows. There also used to be an "Upcoming Marvel Shows" one but it got removed with forum reorganization. It is rather confusing, to be fair.

Grim Reaper really ought to be the villain of Wonder Man. He has the most history with him as his brother.

Actors who are rumored to be in talks for villain roles are Ed Harris and Demetrius Grosse.

Most likely Harris would be Neal Saroyan (the role for which Bob Odenkirk was previously rumored to be considered) and Grosse would be Grim Reaper.
