Man, they’ve really stepped up their cinematography game for this season. This is probably the best this show has ever looked. It’s practically movie quality now. You compare this to the first season, the jump in quality is baffling. It’s like night and day.

Yes going back to Mandalore has me most excited. Looking forward to his interactions with the other tribes, however it turns out.

I have no idea about the chances but I would love it if so. She’s a character many are waiting on and I say the earlier the better.

Hey heeeeeyyyyy, just in time for my birthday.

Hopefully the glup shirttos are more limited this season, but a greater look at mandos in general. I do like the old helmet he finds has the KOTOR era Mando t-visor. Just hoping for some talk about New Mandalorians. Would have loved to see some of that armor in live action.

Not quite willing to pass judgement how the show looks just yet. The Kowakian monkey lizard looks rough, but that tends to be expected with cg creations. I wish most of the Mando armor looked better. The paint is what gets me. Even though Bo-Katan's Death Watch/Night Owls are supposed to look like Jango's armor, it just doesn't look like that.

After Andor which I loved quite a bit and is still in a whole other league of its own I am honestly ready to go on more of these fun, pulpy, adventures with these characters within this universe.

This show might not have the level of acting or writing that Andor has, but man is a lot of fun. I'm just hoping the focus of this season is actually more on Mando/Grogu and not so much on the fanservice.

Don't get me wrong most of that stuff was pretty fun in Season 2, but I definitely want something different and more personal for this season as far Mando really having an arc and progressing as a character.

Also, they definitely upped their game as far the visuals/cinematography goes.

I'm just happy they're leaning into Grogu's Frieza chair. Give me an "oh ho ho" after he throws that dude across the room.

Between this, Ahsoka and Skeleton Key it's going to be a great year for people who enjoy the New Republic era. Can't wait!

Directors on this season of The Mandalorian include returning helmer Rick Famuyiwa, Black Panther cinematographer Rachel Morrison, Minari filmmaker Lee Isaac Chung, Mandalorian actor Carl Weathers, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse‘s Peter Ramsey and returning Mando director Bryce Dallas Howard.

The trailer on D+, has an additional shot transition from Coruscant showing Star Destroyers docked. Coincides with Kim's Convenience guys narration - "There is something dangerous happening out there..."

I love Mara Jade and everything, but I see no point in re-canonizing her at this point. We know how it ends for Luke at this point. Why do we need Mara Jade? What purpose does she serve?

Luke never married. He never had children. It's like fans so badly wanted Obi-Wan Kenobi to have grandkids or have like Rey be Kenobi's granddaughter, and I'm like why? it makes no sense and it doesn't fit and all.
