I didn’t really like the new one all that much and the original was pretty horrible. But for some reason I just have a feeling I would like Ayers cut. The first trailer was so amazing, I loved the tone. I wonder how much Joker/Harley stuff was actually cut. The Mad Love scenes looked amazing.

The issue for me, is these movies look so cgi, studio driven.. characters I'm not invested in and there seems to be a lot of these ensemble movies about...
Expendables, The Boys, GoTG, Umbrella academy, Heroes, Doom patrol, the original SS, BoP, even Oceans 11 etc... to go out and watch this, paying 30 bucks, I dunno.

I said in a post earlier that the lockdowns has accelerated my movie going experience where I no longer care so much, like Hollywood has been so quiet I feel like it's all bout streaming good tv shows.. you feel you got a bargain... I mean I have Disney and I started watching Blackwidow then got bored and turned it off after 10 mins.

Streaming is definitely changing everything. I think the writing is on the wall, and many people have come to the realization that they prefer the home viewing experience. I’m one of those people. But that’s a topic for another thread.

Ayers SS would be a great addition to HBO Max

While it isnt anyones fault but their own....I cant blame WB for not wanting to release Ayers cut. How many extended/special editions do you have to release before looking even more incompetent?

Though we know that test audiences were 50/50 on both cuts so....thanks the general audience.

They'll release it once this version has lost steam... prepared to put good money on that.

From what I recall in the theatrical cut he still throws her off the plane.

To save her i think...but lets be honest, few of us really paid attention.
In the Original version i think he throws her out to save himself or so.

Yes, but he throws her off all the same. Not sure how throwing her out saved himself though.

No idea, i just remember that Ayer initially had Joker and Harley as a far more Toxic Relationship, including him throwing her out of the Helicopter or so to save himself.
I think he even revealed a clip about this, but that was back then when the whole thing was a big talking point.
Maybe i remember it wrong.
