Not necessarily. I'd say the odds are extremely high the Thunderbolts team splits in the second act and fights each other (among others) in the 3rd act, so if that's true technically everyone in the movie would be 'facing off against some superheroes'.

I guess so, but how many people will be on the team in the first place? 6 members were announced (Bucky, Yelena, Red Guardian, U.S.Agent, Taskmaster, and Ghost). Then every scooper has said Sentry, and a couple of people have claimed that Songbird and/or the Hood will join. Given what we know I don't think it's likely this movie will introduce a bunch of new characters to join the team. Who would they introduce here besides Sentry and Songbird? If he's not Sentry I'd guess he'd be someone working for the government instead, .

Just speculating, obviously, but I'd bet there will be more characters who haven't been announced yet who are technically the 'bad guys' for the first act until the team realizes the 'bad guys' aren't actually bad and Valentina is lying to them.

But, yeah, he could be a good Sentry, too, and a good agent in general.

I remember he factored into the first few arcs of Bendis’s New Avengers, but that’s kind of the extent of my knowledge of the character.

I saw someone suggesting making Bob Reynolds have Yeun's natural hair and have it turn blonde when he powers up as Sentry like a super saiyan. I think that'd be pretty cool.

Like can the actor bulked uP for the role? Like when I think of Sentry, I think of Henry Cavill, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth body type.

Actually I think Sentry makes perfect sense as on the skinnier side of superheroes. All superheroes are drawn as muscley to some extent but I don't recall Sentry ever being drawn as super bulky. He's probably the skinniest Superman archetype character I can think of. More Brandon Routh than Henry Cavill.

I think definitely as Bob Reynolds he's kind of supposed to look like a totally unassuming normal guy at least. And it's also not like his strength comes from his physicality either.

I like Yuen a hell of a lot an an actor. But I have a tough time buying him as The Sentry. Which has apparently now been accidently confirmed by Robert Kirkman.

Yeah I agree that Yuen isn't the best choice here. He's a great actor, but I think they should have picked someone who looks more like the character.

Josh Holloway would have been my dream choice for the Sentry. Back when I was really into Lost and Sentry comics, I wanted him as Reynolds.

I think he's a fantastic choice for the kind of role Sentry probably is, acting wise.

As for looking the part, on the list of superheroes who 'need' that comic-accurate look I'd say Sentry is somewhere just north of Negasonic Teenage Warhead so I really don't give a damn about that.

For you maybe. More than half the *comic book readers* I've seen talking about this news don't have a clue who Sentry is. He really is not that iconic.
