He was allegedly having inappropriate DMs with a minor I think. But it was intially reported by some hole in the wall news website and wasn't really backed up by any other major news outlet. While I think it's very much possible it could be true, it did seem odd the news came and went. I would wait and see if more info comes out about it.

I read the actor's ex-wife disputed all the claims and the fact that nothing's come out of it since and that no major trade media has picked up on it, gives me the impression that there wasn't any truth behind the claims.

That's not quite what he said. He said she's a bit unhappy that movie isn't called Captain Marvel 2 but most of it sounded very tabloid rumor stuff.

Plus there's the bit about Campea saying he's heard "pretty good things" about The Marvels.

This looks fun, but after Infinity War & Endgame I can't really help but see the decline in quality and each new MCU film just being the next fun time at the cinema, but an utterly average CBM that I forget about a day later. I saw IW 8 or 9 times at the cinema and Endgame around 5-6. The only MCU film I've seen more than once since then has been NWH.

I feel like I can't really get properly excited for any MCU film after Endgame as they all just get released one after the other without any stakes or consequences.

It doesn't help they decided to kill off the Conqueror in the first film he was introduced in.
