Not the biggest fan of Knight (See is just terrible) so not sure what to make of this. Sure, Lindelof can be uneven (Star Trek: Into Darkness and Tomorrowland come to mind), but I still enjoy most of LOST and Watchmen was good enough for what it was.

Still feels like Lucasfilm has no idea what they're doing. For every Andor and TLJ we get TRoS or Obi-Wan. Even The Mandalorian's not very good.

Seriously, jesus, I had no iany of this was happening then I click on a thread and Mangold's doing a biblical epic about the first Jedi and Daisy's returning as Rey for a story set a full 15 years after the conclusion of the Skywalker Saga and I wonder if Boyega will show up will Hamill come back again the Ahsoka trailer looks great and was that an orange lightsaber---

I'm so happy Daisy is back!!!! The sequels have issues, but I've always been a fan of her character. I honestly got burnt out on thee toxicity after the sequels ended so I put it all behind me but I'm back!

My only thought is I feel like this might have more of an impact if they actually waited at least a full 10 years to mirror the time jump in real life, and to give Daisy/Rey a little nostalgia boost to drown out the inevitable negativity. Then again who knows when this will actually come out.

This is an inevitable step it the Star Wars universe is ever going to move forward. I still think that Lego Holiday special had the right idea with Finn being her first apprentice, so I would love Boyega to come back for this.

Bit worried about the director (it doesn't feel like they have learned anything from before with this choice) but I'm happy to sit back and see.
