The Last of Us The Last Of Us Remake

I'm basically justifying it because it's a rebuilt game and I also never spent a dime on the original since it was included with my PS4 in a bundle at no extra cost. $70 is too much but $50 is a bit more reasonable.

I guess wait til the 3rd game is out. Then you could binge play it with Part II and III.

This will be my third playthrough of TLOU 1 and even though I think Part II is a great game, I'm in no rush to play it again due to how bleak it is. But I will eventually, whether it's before TLOU 3 or leading up to the show adapting TLOU 2 if they tackle it.

I just finished my playthrough of Part I and Left Behind so I'm all refreshed for the show. The improved graphics really enhanced the game and this was also the first time I played Left Behind in chronological order between the University and Lakeside Resort chapters instead of after the main story. I have to say the game still flowed just as well that way and I really wish that they had incorporated Left Behind into the main game between those two chapters for this remake.

Managed to get a good deal on this and playing it. Or replaying it seeing as it hews so close to the original only graphically it is so much better and I can almost feel the deja vu.

I'm still with Tess in my playthrough. Has new meaning now that Wersching has left us.

Her remade model is insane. Easily the best character model naughty dog has yet produced.

Took me longer than intended but I finished the Platinum on this finally. It was not nearly as hard as I thought it would be although I had played the PS4 remaster a few years ago and did get most of those a the time so I at least was familar with it.

And so glad there is no multiplayer trophies to get. I never do those, especially not for single player games.

Congrats!! I hate when multiplayer is “tacked-on” for the sake of it. Don’t mind if it feels a natural extension of the game.

Ooof, this might be an even worse port than Horizon was. Considering the IP, what a fumble by Sony/ND and Iron Galaxy.

What happened here? Port doesn't perform well?

Its obviously a cash grab, that the quality control isn't quite there.

Like if Sony really wants their eXclusives to be not eXclusive anymore and get the money of pc players, they should at least port them well. They're not doing themselves any favor with this. Hardcore ps fans aren't happy that treasured Ps eXclusives aren't eXclusives anymore while pc players are paying/playing for a bad port, which won't be good for future Sony ports.

Among other things like memory leaks and crashes. The port was done by Iron Galaxy who also did Arkham Knight and that was a ****ing mess.

Also, outlets didn't even receive review codes... It seems Sony/ND knew about the issues but still decided to release the port because it's the end of their fiscal year in a few days. It's ironic because ND delayed the port last month to ensure the game is "in the best shape possible."

Wow, what a dumb chain of events to be unveiled straight after the success of the show. Big opportunity missed with the pc crowd and could affect the enthusiasm for other releases (preordering before reviews anyway).

How is Iron Galaxy still in business with these shoddy ports?

In this case I can only imagine this is so bad due to being rushed out to come out near the show. With pc gamers they’ve thrown all that massive TLOU hype and further association with quality that the show created in the trash. Should have just taken their time with it.

This mod is insane I hope ND can add this to the console versions. Having a fps mode definitely increases the tension
