I’m still bitter about Chewie being crushed by a moon.

You want to know how I came to love the New Mandalorians when George introduced them in the Clone Wars. And big reason why Satine Kryze is probably one of my favorite Mandos.

The NJO was a mess, especially after seeing how well The High Republic is constructed, with a much more diverse line up of stuff being published. But that is nothing compared to Karen Traviss writing Luke Skywalker.

I know it gets a lot of crap from some corners, but I was all on board with NJO. I still feel like the biggest issue came when George forced them to change the direction of the story. Which messed not only with Anakin's tale, but Jacen's as well. But Vector Prime was all time setup, and it had more good books then poor ones.

I loved Star By Star. Anakin's death sucked, but of course, at the time, I didn't realize how much further they would go. I liked Denning until he got defacto control, and started fighting with other creatives. Though the fight between him and Traviss was essentially we would lose, no matter what.

1. Sabine dual wielding the darksaber and Ezra's 2nd lightsaber.

2. Jacen Syndulla.

3. Kanan's lightsaber.

4. Chopper murdering multiple people.

Taking into account what storyline this is drawing from, if he ends up being anything like his Legends namesake in the future, be careful what you wish for.

New Jedi Order went on for far too long, but it had some greatness. The Unifying Force is an incredible book and for what it’s worth I haven’t seen anything published in canon storytelling that has that level of ambition or complexity.

1 and 5 would be my absolute favourite amongst a bunch of great things there. 5 seems guaranteed to happen. I have a very good feeling about the actress they’ve picked for Sabine - she is pretty close to what I had in my head for how a live action Sabine might look (usually what I have in my head is a million miles off).
